Preferably, I’d like to do fandoms I’m familiar with. But at this point, I don’t have room to be picky: if you wish to receive a gif header from a fandom I’m unfamiliar with, I’ll need more information to work with: what season/episode do you want it from, etc, as I won’t have the necessary context otherwise. I will also check to make sure I can find the footage I need for any commissions before accepting them (chances are if it's Star Wars, I probably already have it).
WHAT I WON’T MAKE:
Anything involving nudity or sexual activity (using my gifs on 18+ blogs or even for mature/explicit fics is fine, I just don't want to gif sexual stuff)

Giffing celebrities; icons are fine, but finding HD footage for actors/actresses in interviews is time-consuming and difficult to work with.
on the opposite end of the spectrum, I read the first 20 pages sample of Legacy that dropped tonight and honestly cried thereafter, so I think the book is absolutely going to ruin me on a scale that hasn't been matched since I finished Poe Dameron: Free Fall.
Cos I'll be honest. For the last year or so, I've been internally gaslighting myself about my frustrations and disappointments with how my favorite characters have been portrayed — down to deciding I'm too sensitive, I'm just taking it too seriously because of how much Leia and Poe and what have you means to me. The authors probably do like those characters, I'm just reading too much into it.
And then comes Legacy. Kaydel has appeared twice in the previews that have been released. At neither points has Leia expressed being incredibly disappointed in her. There's no casual misogyny.
Poe appears in the latest snippet (without dialogue), but already shows the kind of care and friendliness you'd expect from him. It's also from Leia's perspective, and again. The author doesn't punch down.
Leia doesn't look down on everyone and everything. Rey is given the opportunity to be fully fleshed out and have anxieties and deal with her own conflicting emotions and isn't punished for it or reduced to a flimsy caricature of herself.
So far as I've seen, and I mean there's a chance to be proven wrong still, every character is written with a level and love and care I've genuinely never seen before. There's no barely concealed disdain, or judgment. Just a genuine appreciation for every character that's been shown so far. They've just been allowed to exist.
And that is honestly throwing into stark relief for me that no, I was not just being overly sensitive. A lot of other entries for the sequels have just been incredibly mean-spirited, to the point that I've begun bracing for the punches when I pick something up.
I was doing deep thinking during my shower today, and I had to ask the patron saint of Poe Dameron what she thinks. What kinks do you think Poe has? I have a few ideas, but I wanna hear yours 👀
Oh, I love this question, I have spent actual years thinking about this (more aptly, I learned kink for exactly this. The places this man has taken me, previously sex repulsed asexual, is wild).
Obviously, we have the Word of God through Oscar saying he doesn't think Poe is particularly adventurous in the bedroom, and I think my own headcanons line up nicely with that. I do think, outside of some hard no's (bondage, physical impact, both receiving and giving), Poe would be willing to try something at least once to see if he and his partner enjoyed it. So, he's probably familiar with a lot of kinks, and knows what he does and doesn't enjoy, and how far he likes to take those things (I think he errs on the shallow end).

Title Kink: Listen, I really do think if you hit him with the 'Commander' outside of Resistance business, he's probably gonna get at least a little bit hard. It probably also makes work a little difficult, and awkward, but he'd make it work. I also read a fic once where the reader hit him with "Black Leader" in the moment and he lost his marbles, so I'm also fond of that concept.
Praise Kink: I think this is just his sweet spot, it fits in perfectly with Oscar's Poe "makes love" Dameron characterization, and what we see in the movies. Poe loves lifting up the people around him, and his partner would be no exception to that. I also think being on the receiving end of it would just...melt his brain, heavily. He doesn't get enough earnest praise, and I think if his partner started praising him during the act when Poe wasn't expecting it, he'd probably come much sooner than anticipated.
(Soft) Domming: I think Poe would be a dom, just not a hard dom, and he wouldn't be interested in any sadistic kinks. But being a soft dom? Quietening his partner's brain for a little while? Feeling useful and needed? I think that would be so entirely up Poe's alley and so much the norm, he might not even realize it is a kink. He's used to calling the shots and being the leader, used to being the rock people lean on, and he likes that. For me, I think this also overlaps with a caretaking kink (he'd spoil the hell out of his partner and be so gentle with them) and being the most service top ever.
On the other end of the spectrum, I think he'd be a hell of a brat tamer. Poe's clearly enjoying the rapport he has with Rey at the beginning of TROS before it devolves into a proper argument; there are moment shots in that sequence when they're needlin each other, where Poe is barely resisting the urge to smile. Having someone meet his sarcasm with even better sarcasm would absolutely enrich him, I think.
There's probably a handful of others that I can't remember right now (I have a long list), but this is already pretty long lmao.

it was really easy to chalk up my annoyance at starfighter to me being so overprotective of poe, but like. a movie about Starfighter pilots in a post sequels trilogy world being mysteriously absent of the trilogy's LEAD FUCKING PILOT then being followed up by the same team doing Ghost Rider, and likely (tho not confirmed but let's be honest) retconning Robbie Reyes' existence to focus on a white man sure is a pattern. would love to be proven wrong but from my spot right now it's a very concerning pattern emerging!
