long way home (nonstop to takodana) (19K, T, Ex-lovers) is a beautiful take on the post-TLJ breakup angst. The way the author weaves canon elements into a modern setting is wonderful. The tension between them is dotted with these incredibly emotionally charged moments of pure heartache that had me clutching my chest. So, so good.

Carry You In My Core (That Voice I Adore) (35K, E, Opera singers) I told you classical music was sexy. Opera just exacerbates that. Don’t kink shame. Anywhomst, this is GORGEOUS, read it, do it now.

a place to go (52K, E, Cabin setting, and there was only one bed) All the best tropes, and a mug of hot cocoa to boot. I can’t resist a good ‘snowed in’ AU, especially not when the inital antagonism slowly melts into delicious sexual and romantic tension.

Wild Montana Skies (6K, M, Ranch) They’re a cowboy and a cowgirl with a lot feelings, okay? This author’s writing is my taste in everything.

Head over feet (104KE, Studen/Teacher, Fake Dating) The fake dating graduate student/teacher AU with my favourite everything. The build-up, the characterization, the pining, the smut, the inevitable, soul-crushing heartbreak when these two behave like emotionally constipated idiots…. GAH. Reader, I weeped. *

Play to Win (161K, E, Professional Gamers) There’s nothing sexier than good world-building. This is so fleshed out and detailed and so steeped in real emotion, you’ll feel like you’re reading a standalone novel. There’s also a lot of texting, which I personally love.

Capitalism is immoral (6k, E, Politicians) The one where they’re on different sides of the political field, but also very smitten with each other. Disgustingly cute.

The North Shore (125K, E, Strangers to Lovers) Soooo, Notting Hill is my second favourite movie of all time. This is a Notting Hill AU. Naturally, I love it disgusting amounts. It’s the feel-good fic to end all feel-good fics and you will fall desperately in love with this Ben. Promise.

Hanging By a Moment (44K, E, Hate/Resentment to Love) It’s hard to talk about this one without giving too much away. It’s important that you don’t know all the facts before going in, because neither does Ben, and that’s the problem. It’s a really beautiful story about grief and chronic illness and kindess and Ben goes on a profound emotional journey. So good.

Peacock (72K, E, Neighbour, Fake Engagement) Oh god, this fic is what happens when all the best tropes get fake married and have a fake baby. They’re neighbours. They hate each other. They have to pretend to love each other because, suprise they’re engaged! (pretend haha sure)

I went to see Dragon Cry today! The ticket came with a book of Mashima-sensei’s original draft genkou for the movie!!

No spoilers but all the main OTPs got there moments but Nalu fans in particular will be over the moon!!
