men litcherally don’t get body insecurity the way women do. we feel so uncomfortable with our bodies that many of us don’t even like taking about it or acknowledging that we have bodies. men really are like “i tell my gf that she’s hot but she’s still insecure.. wtf???” like FUCK god you don’t GET IT!!!! you don’t. fucking. get. IT. what it’s like to be a stranger in your own body, to want to burn down the home you live in. you think some dude she’s fucking tells her she’s beautiful and that erases a lifetime of self-hatred. i want to eat myself, litcherally consume myself Whole and throw it back up and some dude thinking i’m hot could never change that. women really are injected with so much self hate from the time we are children that by the time we are women it’s incurable and men really think they can change that by calling you hot once……….die
