Mentally I’m Here system

I feel like something too many people overlook with criticizing endos is that abusers would absolutely use the excuse of systems being “naturally able to form” as a cover up. That and delusions being encouraged in endo spaces is a big reason I’m anti-endo.

Obviously the main reason is I use my noggin and something that happens due to a last ditch survival attempt a child’s brain does when faced repeated trauma just wouldn’t happen just because.

MY life AND other conditioned folks (PLUS programmed folk) lives should NOT be made slightly more triggering and annoying because YOU can't press a BUTTON and type ONE sentence.

1. Transplurals, transdid, and transsystems are not the wildest Tumblr has to offer.

2. People love making entire posts dedicated to tortue and abuse, not in an educational/vent way, but to romanticize it. All those whumpee/whumper posts act like conditioning isn’t a very real and traumatic thing to experience.

Am I too woke concerning the fetishization of conditioning? Maybe, I don’t care. That’s my reality and seeing (probably) middle aged white women with a husband and 3 kids post (borderline graphically) about somebody being tortured and then the effects is wild.

Obviously I mean no hate to any individual that posts that stuff, but when you’re making posts detailing abuse and a very real reaction to that abuse (conditioning) don’t make it so easily accessible. While yes, managing triggers is up to the viewer, not poster, posting triggering stuff without a warning is plain irresponsible. And yes, it is easily accessible. Just type whumpee on Pinterest.

3. Tumblr loves showing me radqueer stuff for some reason. Yuck. See number 1.
