Whether it's true or not, it's clear he doesn't care about his fans and cancelled on them the day of without even giving them a believable excuse. Yikes.

They only had him do Coachella and now Glastonbury because they're necessary for the ligitimacy and legacy of his career.

I will say that the album theme will probably be less vague and more direct to make it "relatable" (like they did with fine line. The whole promotion was around the Hamille break up). The lyrics as well. They'll plan the whole era in advance and will leave as little as possible up for surprise. They know they're not good at pivoting when things go wrong, the new era has to be big from the start so, they'll use all their resources to make the lead single a smash hit. Insane amount of radio play, palylisting and payola, they will do everything to make it a trendy Tiktok sound (though I think they're still not good at that, that's why they had a hard time making aperture or even american girls a hit despite the payola. Which makes sense, papa azoff and Sony's ceo are old men and the Tiktok formula is still lost to them), they'll also use influencers and all that jazz but of course won't forget about the critics, they'll use all of their power to have his next album be critically acclaimed so they can salvage his image and will probably get him a grammy. They will have him do more interviews next time. Especially the fun ones. As long as it's with people and in spaces that they can control so he doesn't sound like the fool he is (I am forever thankful for the DWD press tour. I didn't see it at the time, but that festival he went to and what happened really showed people how stupid he is. I think it was then that the serious artiste illusion was shattered. Because before that, people didn't like his music but because the critics were always praising it and it was charting, everyone thought it was a them thing. Until the glorious Venice festival that is). And many more things that I can't even think of rn. I think HS5 is where things will be interesting. They'll give him everything for the HS4 era and see how HS5 will do with a bit less promotion (I think that's what they were trying to do with this album). There's a serious possibility they'll stop prioritizing him as their main act if HS5 flops. Because until now, he has proven that no matter how successful he has been before and how known he is to the gp, he can not have an organically successful era. His music has to be pushed so hard and shoved down people's throat to succeed. And while that's ok with your first two to three albums, at one point the people that invested in making you happen will expect for you to be more easily successful once you're established. Even ticket sales which should have been the one thing he can pull off were mediocre enough we're now discussing the possibility of them shelving the entire 2027 tour. I suspect papa azoff was fuming after this album's flop but because they put all their eggs in one basket, they kind of have no choice but to stick with Harry. The next most famous client of theirs is Tate Mcrae if i'm not wrong, and she won't work for the plan papa azoff has to guarantee his useless nepo son a long term career. Harry needs to work hard and miraculously develop some talent though. Maybe improve his looks while he's at it. He's seriously one talented man being discovered by the azoffs (and Columbia) away from being demoted into the legacy act roaster at Fullstop management 😂

you're very right about how he has proven his music necessitates mass amounts of spending to prop it up. not just his music either anymore, but even his touring which was one the one part his team thought he had down.

really wondering what kind of conversations are going on with his team and his girlfriend, family, friends. he can't be walking about happy.

i definitely think he'll do a harder push next time around but i think it's all too late. he needed to show some character, personality, depth, talent, skill. he needed to show he understood the world going on around him. he didn't. he's refused to engage politically with anything. he came out completely tone deaf in every way. i don't believe that will ever change, he's never shown any interest in learning or changing. the people he surrounds himself have and will remain mediocre and in his own image.

harry is currently a legacy nostalgia one direction act. he's for weird millennial women who look like they buy or bought labubus.

he must surely be talking about his issues with his career and all the shows and his album flopping and his dreams of a grammy sweep or other awards and prestige being yanked from him... right.

this glastonbury thing has been on lock for him since 2025. they already confirmed he would be doing it in 2027. they expected him to come back with a massive album, tour and fanbase.

i can't even tell if it's true that olivia rejected them for 2028, because it's also possible that glastonbury knows that harry headlining in 2027 will be seen as such a bummer, they HAVE to put out stories about how other cooler people rejected them first so they had to settle for him. they want us to know this man was second best to fucking olivia dean, an almost total newbie!

someone of his stature SHOULD have been able to sell out those many shows. but he has no album, no hits, his performances and stage production are complete garbage, and the tickets are astronomical for a walking and fan sign event where a shit tote was the upgraded toss in to a VIP bag of out of date merch from his non merch line. does he remember he's meant to be selling us nail varnish?

the other thing, his last MSG and other US shows did well because of the lockdown and Covid. no other artists were touring. it was really just harry for a bit. i've wondered how that would impact future sales... now here we see.

MSG is because of the azoff's, because he loved that 25 shows banner, and because they thought the hype would make it mean something.
