Even though Eulesea usually doesnât care about status, the wizard with the charming smile is definitely known as the star-player of the Seahorses. Born as the son of a wizard and a muggle, Reno grew up between two worlds. While his mother didnât mind her husbands magical powers, she still insisted that he would keep the magic to a minium at home; She also enforced that the blonde boy would attend a muggle kindergarten and elementary school â This wasnât just because Mrs. Decker wanted to make sure that he would get her world to know as well, she didnât want that Reno would be too close to the magic world as a child. The reason for it was her fear that the muggleblood in him was so strong, and that he would be shattered if he wouldnât get a seagull at his eleventh birthday. Luckily, and quite unsurprising for Mr. Decker (after all his lineage was quite a powerful one), little Reno received a letter from the same magic school his father and grandfather had already attended; Eulesea. But Mr. Deckerâs joy of his sons acceptance to his old school vanished, as they met him in Griffinville Harbor on family day â Though the young boy had a lot to tell them, especially his mother, he didnât make any attempt to tell his father something special; It quickly became clear for Mr. Decker that Reno hadnât become a member of the forgotten society, unlike him and grandfather Decker, a fact that definitely changed the relationship between father and son.
Getting more or less abandoned by his father shattered the young boy â not only that he didnât know what exactly he did wrong (after all his father wasnât allowed to talk with him about the tfs), no matter what Reno did, he just couldnât regain his fatherâs full attention and love. His sadness eventually turned into the kind of rage that got Reno in trouble with students and professors alike, causing Rosemary to decide over Renoâs fate at her school. Siince the headmistress is known for never letting her children down, she decided to try something out before she would make any hasty decisions, like kicking him out of school â and so it happened that Reno got pressed into becoming a member of the Seahorses, one of Euleseaâs Aquaball teams. It turned out that the young wizard was very talented when it came to Euleseaâs favorite sport â and as for Reno, the wizard couldnât deny that he loved the game; Not only that it really helped him getting rid of the rage inside of him (he mostly let it out in his private training sessions), he also enjoyed how popular he became â people at Eulesea acknowledged him, they appreciated his talent and made him feel good, everything his father stopped doing. For now at least â the star-player still hopes that one day, his father will acknowledge his talent as well and that their relationship gets back to how it used to be; Well, as the saying goes, hope dies last.
EVEN WHILE WE SLEEP â WE WILL FIND YOU
Murphy Blaise;Â Fellow team member and best friend â but this wasnât always the case. Back when Reno was struggling with his rage due to his father abandoning him, Murphy and Reno constantly ended up in a fight; The blonde kept provoking the older boy and Murphyâs usual answer was his fist colliding with Renoâs jaw. Only after Rosemary named the blonde boy a Seahorse, the two wizards actually took a moment to get to know each other â and this lead to the boys becoming best friends. They often train together or just lay at the beach doing nothing. Reno is also the only one who actually manages to get Murphy to study every now and then. But often times Murphy manages to persuade his friend to do nothing; Much to every professors dislike.Â
Valeria Aguilar; Heâs good in Aquaball and he makes sure that especially the Jellyfishes know it. If thereâs one thing Valeria likes even less than being at Eulesea, itâs Renoâs attitude. Whenever the blonde is around, the mexican beautyâs giving him a hard time. Her goal? To destroy Renoâs attitude and to make him realize that heâs not as good as he thinks he is. Valeria should be careful though, after all Renoâs father makes him feel exactly that â so her actions can be most definitely considered as poking the sleeping dragon with a stick; And this dragon definitely knows how to deal with such poking.
Seok Min Ha;Â Reno was the first player Min Ha asked about joining one of the teamsâ she just knew that he was one of the Seahorses and just wanted to know how to get into a team; Reno laughed at her, claiming that there was no way that she was good enoughâ just because she played Quidditch, didnât mean that she was good at Aquaball. Min Ha still thinks Reno is rude, but he definitely gave her a reason to train ever harder; she wants to prove him wrong.
Meadow Bellamy;Â It didnât take long for Reno to find out whatâs the deal with Meadow â well, he only managed to find out that sheâs an ex-Quidditch player; He doesnât care what exactly happened, all he needs to know is what he sees with his own eyes â and that is a so called athlete keeping her distance to the Stadium and anything that has to do with sport. Of course Reno canât help but be a dick to her, because for him it really looks like she got kicked out because she sucks. As for Meadow, the last thing she wants is to join an Aquaball team and make Professor Montgomery win their little dispute â but joining one to kick Renoâs ass would definitely be worth losing that battle.
