Then there is a portion of a certain canon shippers in fandom that cannot accept any ship other than their own in the fandom. If you talk about a different ship, they will attack the non-canon shippers in the replies and question other shippers with things like, Why do you even ship this? Or What is going to happen to the canon ship if you do this?

Jarinda felt like a medieval fantasy ship having a few elements people love about medieval ships involving royalty. Like from not liking each other because of a betrothal to becoming friends, ballroom dance scenes and the hand kissing scenes to show respect my favorite, even horse riding together scene though it wasn't meant to be romantic. Also I loved how Jaron and amarinda talked to each other sometimes initially that gave the feel of a medieval romance. I think book 2 ending felt like Jaron and Amarinda might fall in love later. I love their first hand holding scene. it had more feels than Jaron and Imogen hand holding scenes ever had. I don't think Jaron ever described a hand-holding scene with imogen in detail or slow motion like the way he described the one with Amarinda.

I love Tobias x Amarinda too as I love Tobias too but was it me or did it feel like it happened only to remove Amarinda from the love triangle?? They had no scene in the last two books and were always apart.

In short people making don't you dare ship Jarinda because they are strictly friends or siblings like comments are weird to me as I can say the same about Imogen. I can say why can't Imogen and Jaron be only friends or like siblings? They didn't do anything more except some romantic scenes that happened only for the sake of romance than feeling like a natural development in later books. in fact in original Trilogy they just had 1 romantic scene near the ending but that was to confirm romance only. It felt strange to have that scene during war on front of people too.

She scolds Jaron a lot and even though I am not at all a fan of it sometimes it feels more like an older sister than lover in the books . I can say don't ship jarogen as they felt like only just friends and nothing more in the books before the romance was forced in the story.

Jaron might have said Amarinda is a friend but didn't he friendzone Imogen too before in book 2 ending that Imogen immediately denied saying it's not all the while crying about it?? ( I think imogen didn't like getting friendzoned. lol)
