[PT: What kinds of posts trigger moral & checking OCD (and psychosis)? /End PT]

So many people write and reblog posts that have very direct triggers towards folks with moral & checking OCD. Here are posts NOT to make/reblog.

To get the terminology out of the way - moral OCD is a condition in which a person becomes obsessed about doing something "morally wrong", and develops compulsive behaviors over it. Checking OCD is a condition in which a person becomes obsessed over checking over their own (or others) actions, as to avoid a perceived disaster, and develops compulsions around it.

Do NOT make/reblog posts with phrases such as:

"Reblog/donate/share or else you are letting me/someone I know die/suffer." "Reblog or else you're [insert bad thing]"/"Reblog if you're not [insert bad thing]"

^If it is an urgent donation post that you feel deserves to be shared, at the very least, add "tw reblog bait" and "tw OCD trigger."

"Reblog/like/comment/share or else [insert creature] will find you/stalk you/come into your house/etc" "[Insert thing] is coming to your location. You cannot stop it. It will be outside your window soon"/"[Insert thing] is in your walls."

^These ones can also trigger hallucinations, delusions, and paranoia in people with schizospec disorders/psychosis! It may seem like a "haha funny meme" to you, but to people with OCD or psychosis, they could fret heavily over this, and wonder if they are going to be in danger if they don't reblog/like/comment/share.

"It is illegal to be/have [insert thing here]." (Example: "It is illegal to be nonqueer during pride month", "it is illegal to have internalized ableism during disability pride month", etc.)

So me and my friend @jackandjellyfries were talking about an AU comic where Four and X had a "love-child", a Fork. Then I got the random deranged idea of creating my own interpretation of an integer/variable hybrid love-child between Four and X. And well…

Eerie’s value can change at any given time, just like a variable. But here’s the deal… she has full choice over it, and may change her value at will. But what’s more, her body changes to match said value too. Making her capable of taking the shape of any numeral she wishes to be. Regardless of shape, Irregular’s legs are very short, and her eyes remain unevenly positioned.

Irregular is similar to X in personality, but comes off more self assured than him and instead more confident like Four. She’s very friendly and playful to anyone she meets. But is also very spacey, and can often unintentionally come across as intimidating whenever her mind wanders.

If you're unfamiliar with SCP, it's an online horror fiction collective. The beauty of it is that it's all CC-by-SA-3.0 licensed, so no one person can lay claim to it. A key part of that license is:

ShareAlike — If you remix, transform, or build upon the material, you must distribute your contributions under the same license as the original.

Guess what's fucking that over?

The Wiki's Licensing team was not contacted about this project. I repeat: the Wiki's Licensing team was not contacted about this project.

"But what about Backrooms?" The content for Backrooms was based around Parsons' own series and interpretation aside from the original anonymous post. The Wiki is a collective of hundreds of authors producing original content. It VERY MUCH SEEMS like the people behind this project are about to profit off of basically stealing site members' work. I cannot confirm if authors have been contacted or not, but staff have been totally blindsided. If this film doesn't comply with the SCP Wiki's CC license, there is basically nothing they can do about it. A small horror writing website cannot win a legal battle against these studios.

PLEASE spread the word. I am beyond angry about this.

I'm also tagging @deadmeatjames here real quick because I know you've spoken about this franchise in the past and I am a whole random person online with zero reach.
