my favoritest thing in hermitcraft fanfiction is when it takes place in a pseudo-minecraft fantasy realm but the hermits are still sometimes described with their nationalities. like okay this is a world where magic exists and you can respawn after you die and the entirety of reality sometimes gets new features added and new worlds can be created out of thin air, each with their own accompanying otherworldly pocket dimensions, and some people have special admin powers that allow them to alter the fabric of reality, and gods/cosmic horror monsters/a weird cult called the Watchers may or may not inhabit the spaces in between existence. also Canada exists. iirc it was like this terf who was absolutely fuming because her brother was dating a trans woman and she started claiming that she was clearly male socialized because the terf made quesadillas for dinner and the trans woman was like "wow :) this is really good, what is it?" and if she was a REAL woman she would instinctively KNOW what a quesadilla is

Did you know that humans are so desperate to prevent more losses that they're funneling millions of collective hours and billions of euros into helping other species? Hours and euros that could be spent on humans, being spent on species on whom humanity's own survival does not depend? Did you know that due to an accidental introduction of rats, the Lord Howe Island stick insect population was brought down to 24 individuals and now there are tens of thousands of them?
This bug. This bug that, to most humans, is utterly useless, relatively gross, and completely foreign. Humans saved it because humans do not want to cause another extinction ever again if they can avoid it.
It comforts me that you have bad music taste, because you are a bad person, and I like to think bad moral character and bad music taste are connected. But every so often you post something good. I hope those are just accidents. Or maybe they reveal a tiny sliver of goodness within you.
What I don’t want to believe is that music taste and morality are unrelated. I’d rather believe the universe has an order, and that music taste is one way to tell good people from bad.
I’ll be more direct: you posted a Strawberry Switchblade song. Why? Did you post it by mistake, meaning to post bad music instead? Or did you post it because it reflects the small part of you that is good? Or did you mean to post it, proving that good music and good character have nothing to do with each other?
