The way he was described at first as having no emotional investment in anything, but then Fujisaki waltzes into his life and he becomes an actual wreck. This man was plunged into a depressive episode where he couldn't even enjoy sex any more, yet he tried to stay nonchalant. It came to a point where he was so done he just dropped his juvenile sexed up façade and started talking normally, he didn't have the energy to keep it up anymore. He had his friends worrying.

He apparently doesn't take his glasses off ever, never takes them off while having sex, not even while bathing, or sleeping, BUT he takes them off for Fujisaki. Like a shield against the world, a way to separate his feelings and vulnerability, he hides behind his hyper sexed up babbling mask.

Fujisaki is probably the first and only person to declare their love for him, not just for use of his body, not for the sex, him. So he takes off his glasses and kisses him, takes off his mask and makes himself vulnerable. Then when he saves Fujisaki a second time (I wish we had a panel or two of this man /absolutely sprinting/ to the rooftop, cause he 100% did) he takes his glasses off again to show Fujisaki he means to be genuine to him.

He fronts such an infantile personality, even talking in baby talk or gibberish, except with Fujisaki. This man actually drops the falsetto and uses his actual voice. He shows Fujisaki his genuine self, then asks him if he wants to get to know him??? Ahhhhh 💕💕💕💕💕

Fujisaki PLEASE OMG he's been stalking him for ... Idk how long but he should have noticed Yuri NEVER uses his real voice or takes off his glasses. He's special, Fujisaki goddamn it, he doesn't understand how special he is to Yuri.

That being said, I don't think Yuri would have agreed to being in a committed relationship with Fujisaki without first having realized how much he meant to him. Very "you don't know what you had until you lost it"

I can't ignore the fact that Yuri hides his eyes away from the world, and when Fujisaki tries to be "Yuri's type" in which Tamura pins his hair up (in a way Tamura likes XD) Yuri cuts his hair so that his bangs don't cover his eyes as much. Fujisaki probably used his bangs to hide both his forehead scar and his pain from the world.

He takes off the vibes hanging around Fujisaki 's neck, he takes out the condoms pinned in his hair. Tamura was clearly thinking Yuri only likes sex, but instead Yuri took all those things off and essentially told him HE is his type. He gives Fujisaki a forehead kiss, something non sexual and extremely emotionally endearing.

That scene where Yuri cries!?!? Yuri always leaves after sex too, he doesn't even stay in bed with Tamura, but BUT after sex with Fujisaki they cuddle, he looks down at Fujisaki. Fujisaki puts his hand on his chest and he puts Yuri puts his own hand over it, and is so overwhelmed with emotions he cried. Ahhhhh my goodness my heart!!!!! 💗 I fell in love with them right then.

Yuri actually becoming monogamous for Fujisaki and taking his name off the board was such a sweet way to tie up their story. Though I still hunger for more of them.
