FYI Long Post Last year as the ball was dropping I was face-timing who I felt like was the woman I was supposed to be with, with plans and goals of how I wanted my year. NOT EVEN CLOSE God said differently. First single released. Two successful runway shows, a successful release and showcase party, successful relocation and set up for the year ahead it didn't come without difficulty. She's no longer in the picture. In fact I been single all year. Those plans and goals didn't go as planned. After musical setbacks, financial difficulties that I've never had to face in life EVER BEFORE. Literally not having any money. Cutting ties with people that never supported or had my back. Letting go of negativity and negative mindsets. I learned to pray differently I learned to operate in my faith differently. I learned what blind faith was and total trust in Jesus Christ. I was shown where I needed to be and who was going with me. My bonds with my family and friends REAL friends have grown and thrived tremendously because I just let go and let God. You can fly with a bunch of weight holding you down. Let go of people that refuse to support you. I've NEVER lost or cut ties with a FRIEND. <--- let that simmer I said to my mom and my manager, there's no way I should still be able to get up everyday work, do my music, and not loose my mind. All hell was breaking loose around me in more ways than one. BUT God kept me and provided everything I needed. I prayed and he gave me what I asked for. It took two years for one goal but I saw it happen this year from a prayer in 2013. Once I got out of my own way. There was always meal in the bottom of my barrow to make more bread (1 kings chapter 17). It didn't come in excess like some expect but I had what I needed. All you have to do is remain faithful and wake up in the morning let God do the rest. I'm coming for EVERYTHING I have already asked for from God in 2016 because I JUST KEPT GOING. Happy New Year.
