I think the kpop industry is still experimenting with vocals and they're kind of conflicted between which ones they should stick to. Why do I feel like they don't really know what suits their artists so they kind of just give whatever 😭😭 I feel like its not very stable in terms of success for the kpop industry when it comes to vocals like its always a hit or a miss. I don't know why I want to mention Zara Larsson but it seems like they could really want to have an idol that can sing like or something like that, I think they view vocals like Zara's to be very versatile and can idk why I want to say this but like a sh*tty song sound good because it could be that people in the kpop industry just recycle the same songs and ideas but sometimes it might not hit cause of the vocals or there could be times where the vocals could've saved the song ? For example maybe the song itself was pretty bad but it still charts well or does well because people praised the idols vocals ?
I see them negotiating trying to find partnerships etc to better the vocals in the industry and make kpop more credible it could be that they're aware that especially what happened with le sserafim at coachella a few years back that the they don't have very strong vocalists ? Its like they know their idols are lacking something so they're trying to fix it and put in effort I don't know why I'm seeing katseye here it could be that when training them vocals were really important so I guess there could be people praising their vocals as well I'm not sure since I don't keep up with the group. I definitely see a lot of exchanging ideas what they think will work what won't work why etc the people in the kpop industry are working hard right now to better vocals. It could be that in the future kpop might not all just be dancing they could have groups that mainly sing and only dance a little bit or have lots of back up dancers do the dances instead so they could focus on vocals ? It's also possible that maybe they could switch to hand held mics where the singer doesn't have to dance but the other one's in the group do ? If that makes sense, we could see more live singing as well especially for boy groups so yeah lots of changes happening in the kpop industry for vocals I'd say
They're definitely taking a little gamble here with the ideas and how they would go about this but they're definitely expecting good results so this could pressure the idols a little bit and cause some comparison between idols. I'm thinking of wonyoung as an example where some could consider her voice a bit nasally or something like that I feel like maybe nasally voices would go away in kpop at some point because they recognize that not many people enjoy it and they could with no surprise want to try more westernized style songs so some groups could move away from the cute concepts and stuff,I feel like westernized songs are harder to sing cause they have more technique needed so in general they're trying to train the vocals of all these idols. I do see them getting a partnership so maybe proper like vocal trainers etc willing to work with kpop idols to help them get better someone could even come up with an offer so maybe lots of money here as well, a woman is happy here so maybe a woman recommended this like it could be some idols genuinely does have a good voice but it doesn't showcase ? So this woman might think its wasted potential I think in the future there could be a female group where all of them have brilliant vocals and I see the audience being a bit star struck here why am I seeing Cortis 😭😭 idk but yeah I do see vocals improving.
There could be a bit of judgement here and I also see the kpop industry and people involved in this transformation bracing themselves for hate or whatever. I feel like maybe people don't do well with changes in regards to the kpop industry like the public always has something to say ? I think they could be very proud of themselves but also be met with disappointment and I have to say it would be better for kpop just do its own thing because the energy here just seems like they're trying hard to please other people ? Maybe they're having trouble defining what success is I don't know I'm seeing lots of confusion here and I don't see people in kpop standing their ground either so they should 😭😭 but yeah that's all I'm getting for now. I would also like to say that the cards are giving me the feeling that there will always be people who don't think kpop is good enough and that's ok lol I think these people in the kpop industry need to just accept that otherwise they could risk losing the real fans in a sense.
