So I'm finally employed but my first paycheck isn't coming until the last Friday of the month and is only gonna be like $500, and the house is broke and running out of food too. Rent is $875 due on June 5 at the very latest. I am also going to get commission information posted as soon as I get the stitches taken out of my knuckle. Please help us make up the difference in the meantime

hey everyone ! my name is red, i'm a 25 year old college student, and earlier this month my mom passed away. for further context, over the last six months i lost my job due to an unexpected injury (straight up was fired illegally but lacked the resources to sue my former employer), then my childhood home was foreclosed on, and as mentioned just a few weeks ago my mother passed away suddenly. my father and grandparents passed away when i was a minor, and as such with my mom just recently passing as well, i don't really have any family to turn to for help with this matter. i've really been trying to roll with the punches and figure out how to resolve these situations on my own without asking for help, but because of everything that's happened, i unfortunately lack the funds to be able to pay for my mom's funerary expenses out of pocket. just traveling to be able to be with her during the final hours of her life wiped out my bank account and now i have to raise about 2k in the next couple of weeks in order to get her cremated, pay for an urn, and pay to have her remains shipped out to me as i now live in another state since losing my home. due to the circumstance i find myself in, i've decided to start a gofundme to try and raise the money for these expenses. any excess funds will go towards the cost of care for my mom's cat who i promised i would take care of after she was gone. https://www.gofundme.com/f/help-fund-cynthias-funerary-expenses
