Like people with certain health concerns (fatty liver, high cholesterol, whatever) Do benefit from limiting their fat intake but then people think it works like "oil has calories in it, which make you fat, and that's bad" "if you put butter on vegetables it cancels out the vitamins in them" & it's like. So I'm gonna kill you now, ok?

The subreddit r/explainlikeimscared is a surprisingly good resource for this. People are always very kind and thorough from what I've seen, and I spend a decent amount of time there giving walkthroughs and answering questions when I know the process.
