Anyway I voted no but just barely. I like where I am now, even with the scars. I made a ton of mistakes (still do) but was making the best decisions I could with the very limited information and experience I had at the time. It just turned out to be very wrong [stares dead-eyed into the middle distance]

still fairly new to Being An Old Fuck, but one of the more useful things i've learned in recent years is, when presented with the choice to do a new thing, to catch that reflexive introvert "unfamiliar, break in routine, don't wanna" impulse and replace that with "why the hell not"

at worst i've wound up bored or seeing some bad comedy, but even then i haven't regretted it
