And she is dragging them into dragon fights and throwing herself in front of lightning bolts and tackling brimmed caps

Like nearly 10 years and not even a sniff of a backstory, no shady panels, no implications as to what her deal is

im confident in saying we have pretty much all of richeh's, we know what her story was we have the shape of agott's, even if we don't know the details (i imagine we'll learn more closer to coco entering the tower of tomes)

but tetia is a little black box and the more we learn about the others the more you question how does a seemingly regular bubbly little witch end up in the isolated atelier of outcasts?

i kind of like how... uneven the distribution of the apprentices' histories are, it's not just one test, bam, richeh's story, next test, bam, tetia's, it feels organic, a more natural flow

equally interesting as where she has been is where her character will go next, she got few harsh wake-up calls during silver eve; her afternoon with eoleo shook her -it gave me the impression that she has never seriously considered what magic might mean for Unknowing people- and then she wasn't able to help as much as she wanted with the sick and injured during the leech attack

she is coming up against the limits of what a witch is allowed do in a way that the other girls have before but which is newer to her

not only that but she got a very firm reminder of how those limits are imposed with the threat of violence (ekoh and etlan my enemies forever for the way the spoke to her fr fr)

we know what her motivation is;

the question she seems to be asking herself now is what shape can that help take? in what way is she allowed help? and what will she do the next time she has to choose between helping someone and upholding the pact?
