Make sure you pad the floor with a soft cloth that won’t scratch the lens, and provides a soft landing for the camera. Otherwise you might damage your lens like I did 😬 ⁣ ⁣ ⁣I tried lots of different rigs - using a long pole, using a toilet paper roll, just straight up dropping the camera, but none of them worked because the fall wasn’t controlled enough. A fishing rod worked the best because it lets you control the speed that the camera drops.
