We finished our quick and cracky dungeon crawl for D&D last night, so I managed to get out some very quick doodles today!Ā
I had to draw our wonderful party, plus fans of Salazar Slizzard will be glad to know his legacy lives on.Ā
Also our climatic attempts at escape included an impromptu performance of Hamilton, complete with eldritch horror in the orchestra pit, and it didnāt go so great.

YEUP so what I keep thinking is that yeah, by the end of KH3, Soraās gonna be Kingdom Hearts itself. Either he has been the whole time and we just didnāt know, or he becomes it, or embodies it, or thereās time travel shenanigans again, or itās because of some other unknown WTFery that Nomura suddenly pulls out because goodness knows his penchant for doing that to us!
Thereāve been a bunch of various things throughout the games that seem to hint in that general direction, hereās just some I remember:

Reinforced with repeated stuff like this:
Even with all the bonkers plot craziness of there being like six Soras and seventeen Norts and all that junk, thereās one thing thatās stuck out from it: Sora is really good at making or fixing people. Hell, he accidentally made three entirely independent people with their own hearts and wants and such just because he loves everyone that much and it kindaā¦spills over into the circumstances he gets into.
It makes him and Xehanort into complete foils: Xehanort tries to spread his own self out, erasing (or at least attempting to erase) other hearts and just replace them with himself. Sora does the oppositeā¦he takes hearts in to himself to make them safe, and makes new ones just by being himself.
Considering all this, I can easily see a scenario wherein Xehanort manages to āwinā the final fight (I mean, all the Book of Prophecies stuff and anything else tying into KHUX seems to be very insistent that Darkness Will Win no matter what; although I only have secondhand knowledge of KHUX so I may be really off-base with that. Thatās the impression Iām getting from that and word of god, tho) But yeah, Xehanort wins, is totally set to restart the universe because thatās what heās wanted this whole time and what fascinates him and what heās worked for years and years towards, andā¦then no, heās rejected or unable to, because heās still missing that most important thing.
And instead Sora opens that door, and becomes Kingdom Hearts, and in the end has to restart the universe, because thatās just the kind of person he is.
And the really sad thing about it is that itās not something he would want! He just wants to frigginā go home and be with his friends! But, if circumstances get that direā¦making a new one probably isnāt outside his ability.Ā
Not everyone has time to frequently play KHUX, or can at all. Ā And of the hundreds of thousands that play (there have been over eight million downloads) only a tiny portion will get their names potentially used in KH3.
I recommend people use their first name (if they feel comfortable doing so) as their player name for the event. Ā As an example, while I may not ever know if an āAmberā whose name was in KH3 was me, it benefits every Amber who played KHUX, or even the series at all. Ā Yep, even that little girl who was just introduced to the games a month prior whoās name happened to also be Amber.

KH - The Best At Anything
Okay, a day or so back a couple people asked for more headcanon I had on Soraās parents. Figured I could just start with a fresh drawing of them, since I havenāt tackled them in awhile! Soraās dad is named Taro, and his mom is named Emi.
That, and hereās a repost of a short fic I wroteā¦oh heck, almost seven years ago ohgod that I still rather like how it turned out. A bit of headcanon on how Sora got his crown necklace!
