If that was so, then this is not drowning. The galaxy itself seems drained of color, cast into a grief only she seemed to be able to see. Most people kept going about their day to day lives. Nothing has changed, for them. Nothing would, really. People would disappear from their homes one night, and in another standard month, another family moves in. As if nothing had changed. As if nothing was wrong. To them, perhaps, to the blind eyes they turned, nothing was changing.

People moved out. Spoke out. And they disappeared.

The galaxy was a darker place, now. All Eryn could do is tread water, and hope the waves do not crest so high that she is buried under them for so long that she breathes them in.

Her head leans against a transparisteel window, curls breaking free from their haphazard ponytail as the droid announces the next stops.

To the galaxy at large, she was not a Jedi. To herself, she was beginning to wonder if that was the truth.

To the few people who knew Eryn Pax on this world, she was someone with medical training and a willingness to help people who couldn't otherwise find help when it was needed — who could not make it to, or afford, a normal medic and normal medical assistance.

Sometimes the current brought more, unattached to her face, only to her old name, and those currents bore deserters. People more at risk of drowning than she if only for the distinct, same faces they bore.

Faces she had once still trusted, for her vode in Kyrimorut.

1 ) WHAT DOES YOUR MUSE SMELL LIKE?: at varying times; the outdoors, ozone, antiseptic, fresh bread, armor polish/oil. most of these apply no matter the 'verse, but the armor polish is usually distinctive only to either the mandalorian segment or the d&d paladin au. though I did once pick out a couple perfumes that have the right vibes — summer street and elysium noir. summer street i would associate more with the jedi era; berries, jam, honey, vanilla. elysium noir more for everything after she's left the Order; still berries and citrus, but now with sandalwood and leather beneath it.

2 ) HOW OFTEN DOES YOUR MUSE BATHE / SHOWER? ANY HABITS?: she tries to get a good wash in every other day, but circumstances may push that to either daily or not be able to do so for weeks at a time. under normal circumstances though, every other day, with about 3 days between washing her hair ( once again, sometimes more often depending on circumstance — if she's been stuffed in a helmet all day, that's getting washed, even if she washed it the day before )

3 ) DOES YOUR MUSE HAVE ANY TATTOOS OR PIERCINGS?: not until after she leaves the Jedi Order. not because they prevented it, but because she needed to anchor herself in identity that was not "Jedi". she undergoes a massive transformation during those first early years of Empire. it takes a few years, but eventually she picks up: a simple nose hoop, paired eyebrow studs over her left eyebrow, simple lobe piercings on both sides, industrial piercing in her left ear, not-quite a conch in her right ear.

4 ) ANY BODY MOVEMENT QUIRKS ( EX : LEG SHAKING )?: she sways a little, and used to wring her hands/play with her curls, but nothing particularly loud as a giveaway. the less possible enemies can read of her now, the better.

5 ) WHAT DO THEY SLEEP IN?: nothing special — a plain sleep shirt, sleeveless, and plain undergarments.

6 ) WHAT’S THEIR FAVORITE PIECE OF CLOTHING?: does a lightsaber count as a piece of clothing? other than that, she's got her favorite set of green robes, faded and worn but well loved. and she has her red-black mandalorian armor after the fall of the Empire.

7 ) WHAT DO THEY DO WHEN THEY WAKE UP?: after the usual wakeup routine every being needs to go through? she stretches. if Eryn is awake, she gets up. she stretches. walks through a few basic Form I katas. and then gets dressed and faces the day.

8 ) HOW DO THEY SLEEP? POSITION?: she sleeps surprisingly guarded, either on her stomach with her hands folded beneath her chest, or curled on her side like a little ball. always has since she was a child. this has also led to her falling asleep in the Archives, because hunched over a desk is not too dissimilar to normal.

9 ) WHAT DO THEIR HANDS FEEL LIKE?: they're soft and warm, hands you want to trust will take care of you. no matter how often she handles weapons or armor or combat, they remain soft

10 ) IF YOU KISSED THEM, WHAT WOULD THEY USUALLY TASTE LIKE?: like tiingilar ( "blisteringly spicy Mandalorian casserole" ), most post-purge days, though there's also a possibility of some Corellian food instead — smoked or dried meats, cheesy pashi noodles, loaded mashed potato, etc. or it could just be good old ne'tra gal ( "black ale - sweet, almost spicy black beer similar to milk stout" )! it really just comes down to what the last recent meal was. woe if it was rations.
