Stefanos loudly accused him of doing it on purpose which resulted in the benches clearing, but he refused to look, listen, or speak to Daniil during the ensuing brawl thus prompting a near-identical monologue to what happened in real life in this universe (addressed to home plate umpire Renaud Lichtenstein). Somehow neither of them were ejected from the game and in Stefās next at-bat Daniil drilled him in the thigh (on purpose).
