I don't blame anyone for making this mistake because yeah it totally looks like ray at a glance. But i've spent so much time staring at him that something felt off subliminally. Zooming in, I identified a number of points of suspicion:

- a necklace, which we've never seen ray wear

- the ponytail on the wrist, which we never saw ray do until like swarm

- two pixels that may be a nose ring

Additionally, the hands looked wrong to me, as did the profile of the nose. Jo is a specialist in ray looking down (as we know from this post) and concurred.

Jo did further research into the guitar:

They also found no instance of ray using a strap like the one pictured.

Meanwhile I was off looking for this logo

I found a band (several bands, actually) called karga and was ready to believe that this was one of those guys, but @dulcevenganzaa identified it as the logo of a bar/venue in Turkey. And finally, she solved it:
