Monster band, Torn flesh on tour.

A while ago I thought it would be fun to draw my monster band on tour with behind the scene photos. Hanging out, partying, prepping for a long night of driving and then performing in the morning.

Here are some pics of a recent commission, they requested art dolls of two different kinds of figurines I had made in the past.

It’s amazing to see them as little dolls, I’m sad to send them off but I get like that every time i make and finish a doll. I’m very excited to send them off to their new home!

Recently I’ve decided to finish projects that I’ve procrastinated on. Sometimes with certain projects I reach a process I hate so I put it off for a bit, with this is was the clothes.

Bowser in beginning of the Galaxy Movie: “I was a terrible father.”

Flashback of Bowser being a father:

goes through great lengths to tell his kid an elaborate bedtime story (and I’m convinced he made all the props and rigs by hand)

looks at his kid like he’s the actual light and joy of his life.

Okay yes, he was likely speaking from the guilt of shipping him off to boarding school, and how rare his nights off were according to Junior, but when he was able to be there for his son, dammit he was THERE. And I doubt his absence had anything to do with him not wanting to be a dad.

Clearly, he left such an impact on his son given how determined he was to a) impress him and b) rescue him. And how happy Junior was to finally see him? Their reunion is beautiful.

No hesitation, only hugs.

In first dealing with bowser, princess Celeste had to come up with how to marry off the Koopa King so he’d stop his rein of terror. They both have short tempers so bickering starts a lot from the smallest things

I had to use the it’s always sunny reference pic of Charlie to portray poor princess Celeste trying to figure out a way for princess peach to consider marrying bowser

So I’ve fallen into a rabbit hole of making my Mario OC and I can’t stop drawing her or bowser. They have an enemies to lovers dynamic which I don’t ever use when making OCs so this has been fun!

Also the reference picture of her in front of the portrait of bowser is a real phot of me from the epic universe park
