Drawing is a drug and I need it to stay sane

I hate these plants with a burning passion, so of course I chopped up the roots with my shovel the second I finally managed to dig em out completely (we don't use weed killer since it could harm our geese and ducks). According to the Internet, the roots have a nutty flavor.

Fun (?) fact,Texas bullnettle has a taproot system, so the holes I had to dig were pretty deep (around 3-4 feet).

Another fun fact, my grandmother calls these plants "mala feas" (mean uglies), so that's what the whole family calls them. My brother and I never knew what the plant's real name was until I was in 5th grade. I went on a school field trip that year, and before we went on a hike, the camp counselor warned us about the "Texas bullnettle" that could be found in the area. Low and behold, we did end up seeing some and I finally knew my enemy's true name (it was the first thing I told my brother about when I got back home).

Ngl, it actually is a pretty cool looking plant. It's just caused too much pain for me to not hate it.
