Doing Things With Other Things

Renting the island campsite was only 20$ per day and the canoe was 25$ per day. It is very very much Backcountry camping with 0 amenities, all you get is a wooden table and a fire pit. Plus you have to row all the way out there by yourself. Also, The Indian River lagoon is beautiful but it is called Mosquito Lagoon for a reason. This style of camping isn't something the gf enjoys (or really most people I know), so I just went by myself. It became kind of a self-care trip and I really enjoyed it just being alone with nature ... Except for the racoons, those clever bastards stole my trash.
