New character, inspired in Latin American gangsters and Canadian oogles

I was working in a new piece but I have to pause it for the moment. This is Funky Winker Beans, the best karaoke place in Vancouver, if you haven’t been there, you should.

There is a lot of work to do, I calculate around one month and a half after I return to work on this.

Estaba trabajando en una nueva pieza, pero tengo que pausarla por el momento. Esto es Funky Winker Beans, el mejor lugar karaoke en Vancouver, si no has estado allí, deberías.

Open Season: Scared Silly

This is the project I was working on, I was Surfacing Artist mostly of the time but when we finish the textures I moved to the lighting/comp department. I learned Nuke and that was awesome, having in mind that all my post-production work before was done in After Effects.

From this trailer, I did the texture/shading of the ducks and one environment. I also helped a little bit fixing a few shots in comp.

I had the chance to work in Rainmaker Entertainment, the studio who made my favorite TV serie when I was a kid: Beast War Transformers. I also met David Feiss and Sean Eckols, was great that Sean is from Caracas too.

Esta es la película en la que estuve trabajando. Fui artista de texturas la mayor parte del tiempo pero cuando terminamos me pasé al departamento de iluminación/composición. Aprendí Nuke que fue excelente, teniendo en cuenta que todo mi trabajo de post-producción lo hice con After Effects

De este trailer texturicé los patos y un escenario. También ayude un poco corrigiendo algunas escenas.
