Surprise !! Some New models, they are REEAAL (3D)!!
Can't say I see myself having much time to make this, but I'm glad they make it. After this, I have so much loathing for their hats; it should be a crime.
But at last, I'm glad they came out all right. []~( ̄▽ ̄)~*

Welcome to part two stage zero of my next animation project yeey
Seeing how much you liked the aurafarming monstrosity Kai last time i wanna step up the game and do something bigger: a multiple shot 3d animation in a different software just to make it harder for myself, break my legs and throw me in a river
Im also gonna document the process cause why the fuck not,
So stage zero: T posing reference sheet to start modelling on
Thanks for starting this nervewracking and utterly mazochistic journey with me to the ultimate prize: a 30+ sec 3+ shot animation, probably :))
Other stuff if you care:
3dsmax being secretly an eldrich ancient being but actually being a very competent animation app, i actually love how they do stuff. I just wish i had a proper render engine w it.
I have the deadline set for very short so i actually will perish in this process, BUT don't worry i already have the terrain mostly figured out and the animation is really great w this app i had a lil fun w it b4, it will be easier than in blender. Most time will be the modelling and figuring out how he will interact w the environment.
I'm not even gonna lie, there is a high possibility, if the renders turn out too ass due to graphics problems i'll just restart this whole project in blender and suffer through the harder animation process, but at least it will look good...
So so far:
Blender: FREE, great free render engine, great modelling and sculpting
3dsMax: FUCKING EXPENSIVE (idk if someone buys it at least) animation is looking way easier due to their builtin skeletal systems. Builtin render engines are basic and mostly made for architectural or industrial modelling. You can buy a better one but i don't wanna sell my kidney thanks...
note: I am in no way an expert or even a regular user of 3dsMax, i just started learning it so feel free to disagree on stuff or tell advice if you know the it better <3
Had soooo much fun redesigning the garage for my 3d modeling class finals!!! buut this isn’t its final look… when i have free time i will expand it more and make it more of its own thing.

A small visual update for Star Trek Voyager: Theoretical Horizons.
I’m still working on Chapter 8, and yes, it has taken longer than I originally expected. Most of the delay has been because I’m not just making one video, I’m building the visual pipeline for the project as I go.
This batch includes work on the transporter room, corridor sections, mess hall, engineering-style LCARS panels, lighting, camera movement, and the 3ds Max to Unreal Engine workflow. It has been a lot of trial and error, especially with Datasmith, camera exports, materials, and getting the sets to feel close enough to Voyager while still fitting the AU’s expanded technological direction.
The good news is that Chapter 8 is getting very close now, and a lot of this work should make future chapters easier to produce.
