gonna be stating the most basic, boring facts about myself because i lowkey don’t know who i am lol.

my name is Darcy. i go by she/he/they. i post art and other random stuff and i reblog pretty much anything i like. i am very cringe and i am NOT free :D. i may act like an egomaniac at times but just note it’s all fake and i am actually a deeply insecure person and i cherish anyone who gives even an ounce of kindness to me❤️.

I love how Murder Drones manages to get away with various outdated levels of technology fitting in seamlessly with sci-fi due to the setting being so far in the future making any accurate guesses impossible.

We have a clearly faster than light spaceship; floppy disc looking thing working as an nfc key in a bunker with sentient robots; VHS tapes with guide lines on proper sentient robots disposal; a manor with 19th century acting people, that has robot servants; an ancient cathedral on an exoplanet 30 light years away, being used by catholic scientists, with cross shaped usb sticks, deciding they need actual dinosaur robots.

Truly the perfect setting for a supernatural program able to reshape the universe to spontaneously come into existence.

Sooo, i've redrawn my old comic about Nori and Yeva having a knitting club. I also share my headcanon, that both of them find knitting as some sort of a therapy, and Nori was really good at it! She even knitted a sweater for Khan and a beanie for Uzi (iconic one she wearing due the series)

These obsessive thoughts about killing V are one of those things that Doll (in my opinion) will probably never be able to get rid of.

People say that Doll’s fantasies aren’t realistic, but the truth is, I wasn’t trying to make them that way.

My goal, first and foremost, was to show the very fact of obsessive thoughts about murder.

I’d compare it to that moment when you’re standing high up on the edge of a cliff and your brain is like, “Oh, let’s jump.”

Or when you’re holding a knife and thinking, “Oh, let’s just stab myself with this right now.”

Lots of people have thoughts like that, but you don’t actually act on them, right?

It’s the same thing here. Doll and V are kind of hanging out together, and they’re not even trying to kill each other, but V is still a walking trigger for Doll, which is why she’s haunted by all this obsessive crap. Although, rationally, she knows perfectly well that she’s not likely to be able to kill V right now.

Can we appreciate the fact that in the new Murder Drones short, J has a picture of Khan on her planning whiteboard with the text "Actual Genius" on it, like he's her arch nemesis?

I love the idea of J thinking Khan just HAS to be some genius mastermind due to how effective his doors were are keeping her out.

Lately, I've been thinking so much about the pre-canon voll.

About that moment when Doll decides to kill V, but it’s clear she can’t do it without preparation. She enlists Lizzy’s help, and together they head out on a mission to the spire. Sure, Doll may be cruel, but she still cares about Lizzy, so she’s not willing to let her go alone to lure the killer into her trap.

In the end, they somehow manage to win V over. And then the three of them spend time together.

Doll tries to stay on the sidelines, simply observing and looking for the enemy’s weaknesses.

V, on the other hand, doesn’t take any of this seriously and thinks she’ll kill these stupid workers as soon as she gets tired of playing with them. But even so, Doll piques her interest. Compared to the constantly chattering Lizzy, she seems much more clever than her peers. That’s why V sometimes allows herself to flirt with her, and she finds it very amusing to watch Doll flinch or push her away every time.

Meanwhile, Doll is torn by conflicting emotions, because she definitely shouldn’t like all this flirting, but still, something inside her flutters every time.

Well, in the end, Doll never gives in to her strange feelings and tries to kill V just as she planned. And we’ll be weeping over just how doomed this yuri is.
