I've got two for ya: Jhad and Voll
Jhad is so funny as a concept to me. Like I'm not against it but it has the energy of a crackship even though it very much isn't.
I actually have been reading earlier fanfics with Jhad and it's so funny how y'all thought the story was gonna go into a huge war between humans and drones. Like I get it— I would too if my only episode watched was the pilot, but J being charmed by Thad is SO FUNNY.
She fucking hates it. She denies it every step of the way. She's going Nu-uh with her own feelings. She's so deep in denial but HATES the idea of Thad dating anyone else. And Thad's just like "Oh!! I get it! I can tell what's going on here! :)" because this little shit definitely knows how Uzi is and can recognize repressed emotions like that so quickly now. And Thad's fucking WRONG because he thinks it's friendship she feels that she's denying.
Thad being a "cuddle with the homies" guy is not helping her either. She has to just get used to the fact this tiny worker drone will go right up to her and include her in just about anything as long as she plays nice.
Post J-demotion is even better because everything from the above is still true. She's just even madder now because No Fucking Way. Sure she has some worker friends now but she doesn't feel THIS way about any of them!!
Thad would probably be the one confessing his feelings and just. Apologizing the whole time. "Hey I know this is probably weird, but I just wanted you to know in case I was overstepping at all, I really like you." and J's on cloud nine.
And some more Voll headcanons:
Doll and V sometimes just randomly compare kills and tactics.
Doll will just grab a knife and threaten V to ask her on dates. "[You'll be home by 11pm, and prepared to go out. Or else.]" and V always ends up at least an hour early.
V doesn't like to bring out her claws around Doll, wanting her to feel safe.
Doll doesn't use the Solver around V if she can avoid it.
Both of them need to work on that because the other doesn't actually mind.
