If you're talking about why the weight of the wings isn't included in V's base weight, that's mostly my own headcanon—that the wings on the disassembly drones appear thanks to the solver. As far as I know, their weapons are created using it, so why couldn’t the same be true for the wings? In any case, these things are too big for me to believe they just fold inside the body.
