So aroallo people struggle to proudly exist because we're labeled "shallow" or "unavailable" when we don't fit into the lines drawn for us, without us.

We're just as real and just as normal as anyone else, but the constant shame surrounding sex pushes us to label ourselves wrong.

I cannot be the only person who labelled myself aroace despite knowing it wasn't true because I was scared of what others may think of me, even in my own communities.

Well that's bullshit. I'm not going to live in the closet because of others' ignorance. I want to be loud and honest and maybe if I'm lucky, I can help someone else feel just a little bit less alone.

You don't have to be afraid of who you are. Who you are is cool as fuck.

shout out to ppl with separate romantic and sexual attractions, ppl with "complicated" aroace identities, and random shout to ppl whose attraction is based on presentation or specific alignment (Andro/gynosexual and what have you)

if you experience sexual attraction often but never romantic attraction, thats ok. thats beautiful.

just. idk. i was just randomly remembering how i saw some comments talking about how misogynistic certain things are. theyre not. its ok to have your preferences. its kind of hard to calculate these things when it comes to something so tied to gender while sexism still exists, but most of the time, its fine. its morally neutral. love yourself.

Half-Heart Pride

i'm coining emophy and emosic as an alternative terms for sam. they're combos of emotional and physical since all attractions fall under those 2 categories. the sam prefix always felt too clinical for me, so i made these to be more appealing and useful
