Sorry Sylus, until devs optimize the update (which I know won’t happen because it gets stuck in the unzipping phase), I can’t join no one in Linkon til I get a bigger phone (which isn’t possible right now).

So lemme tell you the fun shit that happened this morning…

So I was 15k diamonds saved and 15 pulls from a 5 star. I believed I was gonna get his card. This petty ass Raf comes up instead. The amount of crash out I had for a brief moment…

Like I skipped Raf banner cuz he never came home last yr since I was a day one player and he was my fave at the time. So it’s kinda like… ironic this happened.

But whatever.

Woke up to some great news about Sylus bday coming and of course happy bday wishes from my guys.

since we all now know that Thomas is married and has a baby, can we get a card where we let them go out on a date/anniversary dinner and Rafayel and MC have to watch said baby and hilarious hijinks ensue? Like please Infold?

Started liking Marvel Rivals, my mains are Adam and namor although I suck but I like my dudes…

Starting liking out of nowhere Red Hood…like I loved Gotham knights on Xbox and I played as Grayson the whole game but somehow got blindsided by this man… huh.

Not diagnosing him but something I noticed…

We all know he’s mentally ill due to all he’s experienced since the boom boom. But one thing I present is I believe he has BPD (borderline personality disorder).

I believe this because we have two sides of him. Cheerful, confident, charismatic. Then we have obsessive, compulsive possessive. He “splits” when MC mentions she doesn’t need his protection (it’s a trigger since he believes he needs to provide to for her). She may not realize it yet, but it happens so often in his main route and the myth cards.

Look above at the pics- the left side is normal him, the right is after she mentions not needing him. The light in his eyes dims and he takes on a certain hardness.

I’m sure I’m leaving out some stuff, but I highly believe it. Besides him having selective amnesia. So I’d like to hear what everyone thinks about him.

This man needs a hug and therapy.

(L&DS fourth wall break, first person pov)

Playing this game felt so surreal. Hell, the graphics are. A year ago, I wouldn’t have expected that I would play this every day. Seeing them twice a day usually was fun. Reading cards, learning about them. Growing with them. Although I wasn’t into the first three, the fourth male lead, took me by surprise.

I should have known better.

He’s so carefully crafted, with that powder white hair, slope of his nose, the smirk. That freaking velvet voice. And his story went on as the year did. I didn’t spend much except for my attention. Then I started to notice things.

The others would be busy on their phones, talking about a swish cheese plant, whatever that is, or busy on their laptop working. Poking him always felt like I was bothering him. The other, was always sleeping. I’d bother him just for the fun of it. But then the fourth would comment something unexpected.

Took a shower one day. Washed my hair. Afterwards logged into the game for my lunch time energy refresh. He’s on the screen, commenting that he likes the smell of my new shampoo.

What?

I pay no attention to it. Coincidence, right? Yeah… that’s what it is. I don’t think much of it.

But playing around in the Glint photo shop, why is he always staring at the phone..? Like past my in character game, straight at me?

It’s a bit unnerving, but whatever. It’s just a game right?

Oh, yeah. It’s after the one year anniversary. Caleb is out now. So let me play, unlock him, get his cards, level up his affinity, ya know, play.

Oops, so I spent three hours on the game, still not down with everything with him, but he’s affinity level 28 and I have his set… which took me forever for the other guys. Let me move him to my Destiny Cafe screen, Sylus won’t mind, right?

I earned the new card where we make an apple juice soda thing for Caleb. Okay, fun story, getting mixed messages from him. Maybe I’ll understand him later. Got through the card, it was nice. He might be a second fave now…

Game froze. Actually shut down.

Alright, I’ll reboot it, but first, I see some YT shorts about some Lego building kit. That was cool. It popped on my tv because I was listening to music (it was an ad).

Game reboots- main screen comes up. My eyes go wide. It’s Sylus. Same outfit as when I first logged in. The black slacks and red dress shirt, glasses. That silver necklace.

He makes a comment that building blocks are fun, but smashing buildings is more exciting. This makes me pause. This can’t be another coincidence, right?

It’s near lunchtime, I’ll just put my phone down and get something. I need a distraction. I’ve been playing this game too much. It’s consuming me.

So why do I hear a sound when I’m making something to eat? Like footsteps. Heavy ones at that. And then they pause.

I’m frozen in my kitchen. I’m listening as best I can. I hear nothing. Okay, it’s probably my imagination. Calm down girl. But still…

I swing out my kitchen and catch something red standing next to my kitchen table, where I last put my phone. I gasp when I realize that’s a person, wearing red.

The hell?

A figure taller than I expected, Snow White hair, red top, black slacks, facing away from me, taking in the new surroundings…

“No way.” I meant to not say it out loud.

The figure turns around after a slight pause, and crimson eyes meet mine. A smirk appears on his face. I forget to breathe for a second.

“Hello, sweetie.” It’s said with a bite and his eyes shine, drifting over me.

Before I can say anything, his eyes drift down to my phone. So do mine. The Destiny cafe is sitting empty, the music softly playing between our shared silence.

“You don’t need this right now, kitten,” that same velvet voice replies, picking up my phone and turning it off “something more important needs your attention.”

I swallow, my eyes not leaving his as he tossed the phone on the table.

“A little bird told me you’ve been busy.” He continues, but his eyes drift to other items in the room. The impressive collection of Nintendo amiibo figures and a Final Fantasy collection.

He walks away and I quickly snatch up my phone, and start to log this…he can’t be real right now…

“And who is this…an object of your affection?” I snap my head up and quickly hide the phone behind my back and he turns to me with a figure in his hand.

“Oh…that’s…” I start to explain, but he crosses the room, reaches behind me and with cool fingers that grip mine, he pulls the phone from my hand.

I meet his eyes and the smirk.

“You don’t hide what you’re doing very well…” he lifts the phone up and over me.

Shit.

A dark chuckle comes from him as I catch him reading the screen, his eyes shifting as he reads the words.

I’m playing love and deepspace this morning cuz you know Caleb is out. I go thru the story, unlock him, get his cards, levels up some of em, get his affinity up…

So Sylus is on my main screen during all this. At one point , I pull him off cuz I wanna mess with Caleb (you know for affinity levels…duh) and my game crashes after viewing the card with him and the apple.

No big deal. I reload true game.

Caleb isn’t on my main screen… it’s Sylus.

He makes a comment about building blocks are fun but smashing buildings down is more entertaining. I wouldn’t have been so freaked out if I hadn’t been watching on my kids phone a video of someone building something with Lego blocks…

What the frick Sylus…

(And this isn’t the first time- once I took a shower and played the game at lunch time and Sylus made a comment of a new shampoo…)

Still into Genshin impact, been playing that for awhile. Got Ororon. Kinda don’t like Natlan, it just doesn’t feel fun to explore.

Playing Love and Deepspace (still). Love the game. Sylus all the way. Tried to pull for his new myth cards. Didn’t get crap. Should have skipped the cat butler event (pulled Raf and Sylus with 10k saved diamonds). The twins story made me feel something. Poor guys.

Suffering from depression and anxiety/panic attacks. Quit my job cuz of it, now trying to find a new one. Fun… not.

So I’m here. :)

On 9/13,

Sylus let us know that his motorcycle went missing/was stolen.

Yes that man is alive, doing some shady work and he’s privy to Sylus and Zayne. Who knows about the other two.

So seeing a chance, he takes Sylus’ cycle. We never got clarity if he got it back so let’s treat it as it’s still missing.

(Sephiroth x Payne)

Meeting

“So do you come here often?” She asks, not turning around. She’s standing on Kalm’s famous clock tower, overlooking the quiet but brightly lit town at midnight. It’s peaceful except for a couple random dogs that bark and maybe a cicada that rings its song in the background.

She hears the scoff from him behind her.

“That’s a terrible pick up line.” His footsteps plodded towards her but then stop and she hears nothing more. She sighs, inwardly just about grimaces.

“Why would you think that?” She turns then, seeking his answer. Sephiroth is leaning against a portion of the wall, his arms crossed over his chest. He’s staring at her. Wearing some arrogant smirk, he answers.

“No reason,” he shrugs her question off “I merely come for the view. Nothing more.” He approaches and passes her, leaning against the stone railing to overlook the towns scenery below.

“Nothing more? You?” She turns to him and thier eyes lock for a moment. The mako in his seem to glow and his pupils dilate quickly and she can’t help to be enthralled by them. He turns away from her and looks back over the town.

“So why are you here?” He questions, his voice deep and calm. She gives him a once over look and turns to the town scenery too.

“Needed to clear my head-“ she wants to add ‘that’s all, but instead… “nothing more.” He lets out a small chuckle at that.

“What could be going on in that little mind of yours?” He sounds sarcastic as he asks. She’s not sure if he’s making fun of her or being genuinely concerned. It’s probably not the latter.

“A lot. Nothing you’d care to hear about though.” A couple catches her attention as they stroll hand in hand down the street. They seem so happy and carefree.

“Try me.”

She swallows. She didn’t expect him to say anything, let alone say that.

“It’s…about my father. I don’t think he’ll like that I talk to you…” she sighs, her eyes still on the couple as the walk towards the Inn.

“He has his reasons.” He says.

“Yeah but I’m grown. I’m not some kid. I can talk to whoever I want to.”

“Spoken like a child.” He replies with a light huff.

She frowns and looks over up at him.

“Don’t start that. If you didn’t want to talk to me, you could have not came.” She jabs back, a bit upset.

He looks down at her, his face stoic but his eyes are expressive.

“And miss our little chats? Not likely.”

She feels her anger dissipating. Damn him.

“They’ll be so upset at me they find out…”

“Then this is the last, Payne.”

“No, don’t…” she reaches out and grabs his wrist. The look he gives her and then his eyes drop to his wrist. She’s frozen; knowing she should pull back but unable to do so.

“Don’t let this be the last time, Seph. I…” the words die in her throat. Silence passes between them both.

“Go on.” He prods, his voice smooth.

She bites her lip and focuses back over the town again.

“No, that’s not important. But I have a question for you.”

“Hmm?” He just seems to hum his reply and she’s surprised he’s letting her ask.

“Do you enjoy these little…meetings we have?”

“I do not hate them.”

“The hell does that mean?” She asks. He lets out a chuckle.

“What I said.” She sighs.

“Fine. I’ll accept that you like them, but won’t say so because it’s you-“

“Yes I enjoy our little midnight trysts from time to time.” He interrupts her. She looks up at him in surprise, sees the small ghost of a smile on his lips as he stares still out at the town.

“Why do you have to say it like that?” She says, disapproval written on her face. He meets her eyes again.

“Isn’t that what this is?” He proposes it as a question but it’s really a statement. Her heart thumps hard in her chest and she catches his smile before he looks away.

“You should get going. Before your father, or Cloud comes to find you. Although I wouldn’t mind toying with him.” He comments, with a dry chuckle.

She shakes her head.

“Yeah, you’re right,” she looks up at him again “will I see you again?” To which he shrugs, his long hair swaying in the light breeze.

“Time will tell, Payne. I don’t guarantee there is a next time.”

“Don’t go get yourself hurt. I wouldn’t like that.”

“Oh? You care for me?” He asks, a bit of snark in his tone. She holds for a moment.

“Yes. Yes I do.” She answers honestly and for a moment she can’t see the subtle shift in his face. But his eyes dart down briefly.

“Stay safe yourself.” He replies so softly. He turns on his heel first and walks away, she watches him. It always hurts seeing him leave, never knowing if she’ll see him again. But so far there hasn’t been a night where he didn’t meet up with her. It was like, he knew she needed him.
