i wish my brain were not full of gludge. i would like to be using it & because of the gludge i cannot do that.

My one boring tip to anyone in their 20s is to resist the temptation to rot in your room every time you get a free moment. Dismiss any neuroses you have about going outside and "being perceived". Be a dictator about it, plan your hangouts like they are binding commitments. No excuses! Go to the bar with your friends. Be kinda hungover at work. Socializing is like exercise; even if you don't feel like you want to, you should still do it because it's good for you.

sometimes you gotta try no to blame yourself for the fact that you’re not doing the things you wish to do. oftentimes it’s not because of laziness, but because of exhaustion, and the two are completely different, especially when pushing it can cost you your health. and you’re not failing just because you’re tired, you’re not worth any less because you’re exhausted, you’re just trying to get through life the best way you can, and that’s already a hell of an effort
