day dreamer

Hello again… it’s been years since I wrote something here. Procrastination hit and before I knew it, years have gone by. I lost the energy and cannot find the inspiration to write again. And here I am years later, hoping to restart. As the sun set seemed to remind me… with every setting sun, held the promise of a new sunrise after a night’s rest. My writing took a rest and now I hope to write again... I will write again

Healing is not ignoring past hurts And moving on healing is not denial of the pain you once felt healing is not forgetting never feeling the hurt again healing is not revisiting past traumas Healing is facing past pains it is recognizing the experience in your past and learning to accept and forgive with the knowledge it was not your fault Healing is understanding that there will be days when the past comes creeping in it is not wrong to feel the pain and everything that comes with it every once in a while It's okay to feel everything It's okay to shatter in pieces and struggle to be whole again that's normal that's just you being human

When the world seems so dark and you feel empty and scared...

we all have broken parts flaws defining our humanity We experience… We live… We love… We fail… We triumph… That is what living is all about Accepting our flaws Recognizing our scars From battles we have lost and won Its those scars… those flaws… that make us imperfectly perfect

Inspiration lost an empty mind a lost soul a wounded heart   nothing left but an echo of memories from a time long ago made of laughter and cheer  

I keep losing pieces of me To people who have come and gone Into my life And with each encounter I grew…I learn I changed I become A better version Of me

Will our paths Ever crossed Are we... Like the sun and the moon Existing in the same world Yet Living in our own universe Will we ever find each other Or Forever stay... a dream…a fantasy

did you ever had that moment... a memory from long ago embedded and frozen in your mind you remember It so vividly like it was yesterday And not from a lifetime ago

I feel broken I walked with tired limbs A weary heart A drained soul Falling in a bottomless chasm

It was when I started focusing on self-care Listening to my inner voice… Recognizing my own needs… Choosing me over others...   It was then  That I found myself Falling... Falling into me   And realized What a privilege it is To finally grow into me

Our character is shaped by our experiences Influenced by family, society, peers and the media We become who we are today Because of the choices we make… Because of our actions and reactions…

To keep the peace I kept to myself And continue to act nice Even when I’m pissed   I have held my voice and kept my silence Kept my opinions to myself And locked everything in a box   But I am getting tired and my boxes are getting full ….

At night I’d lie alone on the floor of my balcony and I’d stare and stare at the endless dark skies feeling the chilly night winds and the coldness of the marble floor I wondered of my own mortality if I die Will anyone cry? Will anyone care?
