it's really funny how the entire world basically just blew the fuck up six short years ago and nobody wants to admit that that may have had some lasting consequences lmao

bet tumblr went down because too many people submitted support tickets to tell them that the new reblog note thing they announced is terrible and something nobody wants

why does it take SO much energy to keep your house only sort of clean

puttering around the house is an underrated form a self-care. make some tea or coffee. put on a podcast. sort the mail. tidy some pillows and fold some blankets. start the laundry. thaw some soup. just casually wander around aimlessly doing little things to make your space and life a little nicer. who cares if you get distracted or only do a little. you aren't being productive. you're puttering.

ultimately the best way to prevent abuse is to organize society in such a way that everyone's needs are met wothout having to rely on a parent or employer or boyfriend or any one individual. obviously wont stop, like, manipulation or so on, but the ability to dangle basic needs over someone's head is one of the most powerful and consistant tools of abuse out there. if someone is able to just leave, and know that they will have access to food and shelter and clean water and education, that will enable so, so mamy victims of abuse to do just that.

My god I wish more people understood this.

And there in the middle, above Prechistensky Boulevard, surrounded and sprinkled on all sides by stars, shines the great comet of 1812, the brilliant comet of 1812, the comet said to portend untold horrors and the end of the world… but for me the comet brings no fear. No, I gaze joyfully, and this bright star, having traced its parabola with inexpressible speed, seems suddenly to have stopped like an arrow piercing the earth, stopped for me…. It seems to me that this comet feels me, feels my softened and uplifted soul and my newly melted heart, now blossoming into a new life. Btw.

the thing that sucks is that people love saying sleep early is good etc etc and yeah it is. I've seen some benefits before. but I think it sucks to ignore that late night is the only time with any freedom. I think it sucks to not acknowledge the dread in waking up and it's a work day again

ahhhh finally the weekend is beautiful and wide open ahead of me. surely this will be the weekend I finally get my whole life in order and do the twenty-seven things I've been putting off and fix my sleep schedule and make memories with friends and discover my purpose in this world. surely

this time we're really gonna do it guys. I believe in all 4000 of us
