I think it would have been cool to animate them to introduce more of Marco's character, because his presence while he's alive is barely noticed by many people watching the anime the first time around, and that becomes a problem when his death becomes important but people don't even know who Marco was.

The interaction with Eren reaffirms Marco's interests in joining the military police but also his insecurities. And then we have Eren and Sasha praising Marco's leadership, A REALLY CUTE MOMENT! 😭😭

And this scene comes right after that scene where Commander Shadis assesses each cadet using the maneuvering gear in the forest of tall trees. That Scene was animated! Even if Marco was not evaluated by Shadis, Wit could have included him in the scene to add the conversation scene with Eren after this one.

BUT AT LEAST THEY USED THIS PAGE TO MAKE PROBLABLY THE MOST MEMORABLE JEANMARCO MOMENT IN THE ANIME:

I really loved this challenge but it was difficult and stressful to post something every day so I chose to do all the prompts with a chibi style ^^ it was easier for me
