My (at the time) second largest piece I’ve made!

My final for my architecture class I took in Copenhagen!! This was a site that we visited on a lake that had many issues, and our assignment was to create a cafe that addressed and solved these issues! It was a ton of work, but was ultimately really fun to do! I spent months cutting and gluing those wooden sticks, and it turned out very well!! The presentation was interesting because the judges were being really harsh, especially since this was most people’s first architecture studio, myself included. But when it finally came around for my turn to present, they didn’t have a bad word to say about it! To me, this shows that my hard work (and countless late nights in the studio) paid off. They told me that they could see the time, effort, and thought I put into the project, which I was very glad of! overall a very fun project!!

I’m posting this one separately because this is definitely my favorite sketch I did. my beloved 6.5 year old headphones that I have used the life out of. They are Sony WH-1000XM3 for anyone wondering!

And lastly, the 9th one was drawn while waiting for a train; it was one of the beams that supported the station. I didn’t quite get to finish, hence the “train is here” written next to it

thus begins the era where I was doing a lot of pen sketching! this was a bench in the Copenhagen town hall square (Rådhuspladsen), and one of the first things I sketched and was really proud of! I also didn’t once pick up my pen during this drawing!

the warped one ended up growing on me so I sold the good one at a fair! (thank you to that person for buying things and commissioning me)

my first pixel art in maybe 6-8 years, and my first time using both small beads and artkal! in typical raine fashion, i jumped straight to the complicated (large) piece in the medium and therefore underwent a lot of the learning curve (and the many *many* mistakes that came with it) quite quickly over the course of this project. It took 32 hours total, 14 of which were correcting various mistakes i had made. oh well! it got made, im happy with it, and i learned a lot!

turned out pretty well! except a lot of people thought i was scarlet witch lol.
