🩵Sayaka & Mami (Rebellion Version) 💛

YAAAAAAAY! More rebellion content in the year of our lord and savior 2026. We’ve kinda known this for awhile given the leaked Mami Kioku art & her new attack animation in the rebellion path. But still fun!

Sayaka was a really cool surprise and I’m excited to get into it. This is one of the few times where I want both of the new characters in a standard release.

I’m ofc going to prioritize Mami but I’m gunna try for both 🙏🏽

Mami Tomoe (Rebellion Story) 💛🌼

MY GOAT THE BEST TO EVER DO IT! I mean when I first watched Rebellion her fight scene with Homura was truly a spectacle. Having a new unit based on this scene is a no brainer.

My goal is have all of the Mami’s eventually so I’m really going to be pulling for her (while still trying to save up for Walpurgisnacht Rising Units)

Forest-Defender is a perfect given that she’s naturally a forest unit who’s literally trying to defend Bebe in the scene.

Sayaka Miki (Rebellion Story) 🩵🎶

Sayaka & Octavia look soooooo good! MORE WITCHES PLEASE! They both look so good and each of her scenes with Octavia in the movie are SO GOOD so it’s a no brainer of a unit.

Can’t wait to see their interactions in the new movie.

Aqua-Healer works as a fun nod to Nagisa being a Light-Healer. The Law of Cycles is out her trying save her friend so ofc she’d bring Healers to the group.

Kush Irina (Luminous Tenet) 🖤💔

Kush has revived an upgrade as a 5⭐️ unit! It’s fun that some of the 3 & 4 star characters are getting a bigger chance to shine. So if your fav character is one of those lower star units there’s hope for more love with an event story/game upgrade.

She’s not my fav character but it’s definitely a fun addition. I’m going to go with Dark-Attacker but I’m not entirely sure tbh.

Truthfully I had planned a big Precure post but it accidentally got deleted yesterday so I’m going to have to lock-in later this week.

🖤MADOKA MAGICA WALPURGISNACHT RISING NEW TRAILER 💖

We finally get to see Mystery Girl’s face and she immediately looks like a fusion of Moemura/Mami/Madoka. The outfit is adorable and this makes my theorizing mind go crazy.

Before we continue I wanna say that she doesn’t seem to be a villain, fighting off wraiths and giving off an innocent, kind sort-of vibe. She’s cool as hell and I can’t wait to pull her in Magia Exedra.

My running theory is still that shes the Law of Cycles, using past memories of the Magical Girls closest to Madoka to create this new form. Possibly taking control of an Incubator’s body similar to Lil’ Kyubey in Magia Record.

Notice her Bow looks so similar to Madoka’s & Homura’s but has her own fanatical fairytale esque design to it. Plus she has Mami’s old outfit and the use of ribbons (however they’re notably red instead of yellow) She seems incredibly powerful from what little we’ve seen of her and the animation throughout this whole trailer is absolutely breathtaking.

We see Choka & Selma descending into this new world, apparently fighting against Homucifer. They have Witch magic around them when they fall (not in the original trailer!) and it’s the same area where Homucifer’s wing appears to be cut.

They must be incredibly strong to be able to “defeat” Devil Homura here, even if it’s two of them. Wonder if any connection to the LOC has anything to do with that.

Temporarily taking down Homucifer probably helps the two of them integrate into the Holy Quintet’s life without interference.

Note the golden stairway and ocean expanse, two locations that we haven’t seen before. There’s that scene of her fusing with the salamander and there’s blood everywhere, perhaps she has to make some kind of reconciliation with her darker nature in order to regain her power.

Again the animation is breathtaking!

We finally have Mami using her weapons, which have been absent from the previous trailers. Instead of being in that café & wearing a bear costume she now gets to get into the action. Same with Kyoko, they seem to be fighting against the same enemy.

There are so many good shots of Sayaka & Octavia in the trailer as well, would be cool to finally see Sayaka work hand-in-hand with Octavia. Forming a new bond (which is something Selma & Choka may have done)

I COULD TALK ABOUT THIS PAINTING OF WALPURGISNACHT FOR HOURS IS SO FUCKING GORGEOUS 🎆

It seems like there’s going to be a big final battle at the end of the movie with the Holy Quintet fighting against Walpurgisnacht. Although their is a scene of flames consuming part of the city that vaguely resembles the lava from the Goddess of Justice Mami scene from concept movie (I’m a Goddess Mami truther 😭😂⭐️) Although Walpurgisnacht also haze a fire attack she can do.

🏖️ Splashing into summer with Swimsuit Iroha & Friends 🏖️

Just like this time last year we got a really cool movie trailer and a summer unit(s). I already talked about Swimsuit Homura/Kyoko so let’s dive into those new characters!

Swimsuit Iroha- an Aqua/Attacker whose weapon is a Kyubey/flotation ring. And her Kyubey crossbow is also super cute. 5/10

Hinano Miyako- That Kioku art is so fun and watching her throw those explosive vials in her ultimate attack is super funny. She’s a Forest-Dubuffer, surprised her and Emiri aren’t new 4 stars tho 🌟 5/10

Emiri Kisaki- She’s an adorable Flame-Healer and I’m glad she’s also made it into the game. I’m not personally gunna do to many pulls for either of them (gotta save up for the Movie units) but I wouldn’t ever be mad at pulling a new character. Very exited for figure reveals. 6/10

I cannot wait for this movie and I will find a way to eat h it day of release without getting spoiled. I hope they announce the global release date sometime soon.

Getting characters~ like Koito (who where never in Magia Record) gives me hope for more obscure side-characters to get their own units.

So here’s a top 10(ish) list of my most anticipated units for 2026 and beyond.

Alina Gray- Dopple of Fever

I LOVE the idea of Doppels and Alina’s (Old Dorothy) is a really fun one. Most people think it’s just the paint but there’s actually a little creature behind her that mimics her pose.

It plays into both her insanity and love of art perfectly. The Doppel units take parts of the witch into their base design and it would be cool if she had an apron or the white mask on her model.

If I had to pick a type/attribute I’d go with Forest-Debuffer cause of the fever her paint induces if you come into contact with it.

Holy Alina- Endless Decay

Another Alina unit yes, but her holy form is so cool guys! The Uwasa of the Fur God taking from more pagan winter beliefs to mirror Mami’s more Christian Holy Form. Chefs kiss!

I think the red stag legs look a lot cooler than the golden or ornaments behind her so I’d hope they keep that for her base model. I wish we could’ve seen a scene with Holy Alina going pure psycho mode like they did for Holy Mami but alas, Neo Dorothy Motherfucker is cool as well. (Wish we got Ana actual fight with her tho)

Forest attacker all the way with this unit, it would pair perfectly with Nemu ironically enough.

Yuu- Puella Monoceros

Our psycho magical girl whose soul gem is literally in her stomach. I adore her design s much and getting Gekidan INU Curry to design both her & Shi was such a genius move.

I’ve spoken about my love for her before in previous posts so I wound harp on it too much here, but her model and attack animations would look so sick in 3D.

Isabeau- L’ Execution de la Reine

What can I say, I love the villains (and that theme will continue for future characters). Her rose-thorn ribbons are such a cool weapon, and I hope her model keeps those incubator observation lens floating around her. I hope we get her witch ver. As well but I like this outfit more so I’ll go with this one.

Dark attacker for her and void attacker for her Witch Ver.

Kazumi, Umika, & Kaoru (Upgraded)

Okay okay okay this is one of two spots on this list that’s for multiple characters, I’m sorry! 😂😭

Kazumi’s original outfit is…..well it’s not great. BUT, her new outfit that she gets at the end of the series is absolutely perfect. I adore her outfit so much and I can’t wait for them to release it. Plus- we never got Umika & Kaoru’s updated forms in Magia Record so it would be a perfect time to add them as well. Plus I like their new forms more anyways. Umika gets a slight upgrade (her original form was already great) but Kaoru gets a whole new makeover that greatly improves her design.

Light Buffer for Kazumi Subaru, Aqua Debuffer for Umika, and Flame Breaker for Kaoru.

Kanna Hijiri

Another villain! Kanna has the best outfit of the Kazumi villains, a deep motivation, and a killer weapon. What’s not to love. Her story of feeling like Nico’s personal doll and breaking under the weight of not feeling like her own person is such a great parallel to Kazumi.

The main villain of the series, it’s such a shame she was never in Magia Record.

Void Debuffer for my girl Kanna!

Kagari Hinata

Gag it, another villain! Another absolute psycho who we absolutely need in the game.

Now, it must always be said that most of the Suzune designs are…….absolutely atrocious and not age appropriate whatsoever. Luckily, Kagari has one of the better outfits and the butterfly motif is really nice. She has such a cool witch & power set, begging perfectly fine with turning herself into a witch if it brings Suzune more pain. The absolute goat and I wish we got more scenes of her in the manga.

A lot of my faves are the villains, so, I’m unfortunately repeating the dark attribute a lot. Regardless, Dark-Debuffer.

Kosana Kiriha

NULL MAGICAL GIRL MENTIONED!

No seriously it’s the most forgotten/underrated Madoka Magica spinoff. Is it really wonky, yes. Do I fully understand it myself, no. Do I think it’s really fun, also yes.

I could totally see them making her and Eruna limited characters in the game, but I’m so curious as to what her attack animations & Kioku art would look like.

Void Defender makes the most sense in my mind (Eruna would be a Void attacker)

Holy Mami- Doppel of Worship

Another Mami unit YAAAAAAAY! (The crowd throws tomatoes 🍅 at me and then proceeds to burn me at the stake for manifesting this but I die happy)

Regardless, I stand by the fact that this would be such a cool unit. Make her limited and OP as hell please! Especially after seeing her story with Florence in the previous event, I think there’s more to that story they could go into. Plus that Kioku art would be ✨perfect✨

Dark or Light Breaker.

Walpurgisnacht Rising Units

And this is an absolute cop-out of an answer but I can’t help it, I’m so exited to see these units come to the game. Obviously I’m most exited for Mami (Goddess of Justice Mami pls come home 🙏🏽)

However Choka, Selma, Mystery Girl, Sayaka, and parasol Homura are MUST HAVES as well) I adore all the designs and our new Magcial girls are already stand-out characters in my mind.

Coming out at the number 1 Choka & Selma defender rn!

🌼🌼 Dopple of Invitations~ Mami Tomoe 🌼🌼

Yaaaaaaaay! Honestly I’m just as surprised as you, every-time I make a new Magia Exedra post I feel like there’s a new Mami unit (the only one mad is my wallet😭) I’m stoked ofc and very excited! I figured that the next units would be Rumor Tsuruno, Holy Alina, or more Darc/ Oriko characters.

VERY THANKFUL THAT I PULLED HER IN MY 3rd 10-PULL WITH my FREE GEMS 💎 (THANKS YOU UNIVERSE!) now no more gems (unless we get Holy Alina or Rebellion Mami), gotta save up for Walpurgisnacht Rising units.

Well let’s dive into it then!

The story is actually really nice and I’m hyped we get a deeper look at Mami’s psyche post- Holy Mami. Although she never knew Candeloro’e real name she actively talks about how much she cherished her relationship with Florence and how she relied on her Doppel.

After the fact she’s having a good time reconciling with the rest of the Quintet but she’s afraid that she might lean on them to much for support and wants to speak with her Dopple 1 on 1. So ofc she goes to Mitama (side note it’s nice seeing her talk with a Magical Girl and not automatically be their superior and talking direction from Mitama)

Florence is upset about being left behind and accused Mami of simply relying on her friends to support her without offering anything real to the team, especially now that she (as their leader) committed such horrible acts under the Magius. Mami pushes back and declares that she loves her friends and will ensure that she’s able to support them just as much as they do. Swearing not to fall into that deep pit of despair again. And that’s where Florence simply similes and promises to watch over Mami until the day she falls into despair.

I’m glad they continued the trend of the dopple units carrying over parts of their dopple in their base model. The little hat & ribbons look really cute here.

I look forward to more dopple units in the future. I’m hoping they keep Yachiyo’s veil for her base design when they finally release Campanella.

More swimsuit units! ☀️ 🌊

Tbh not really surprised we’re getting more, it’ll obviously be a seasonal event. If we get more this year I could see them releasing Nagisa or Iroha. It’s nice that they’re re-releasing the past swimsuit units in their own banner as well. I got lucky and got Sayaka in my first pull.

Homura is a dark Debuffer that would pair really well with Devil Homura, Fuka, and Ui, while Kyoko is a great buffer for any attacker in your team!

Now what can I say, season 1 of Maul Shadow Lord was absolutely phenomenal. I knew it was gunna be good but every expectation I had was completely blown out of the water.

Star Wars animation continues to be the foundation of the franchise and I hope they invest more in animated stories in the future. It’s not lesser than live action material and it has the ability to take the franchise so far. With every new show the animation gets better and better, I can’t even imagine how good it’s going to look in 5-10 years.

Sorry is also in order! I wanted to post every week and have this out by May 4th but alas, life’s been very hectic and I’ve been applying for a new job (which I got YAY! 🎉)

❤️🖤Maul🖤❤️

The man of the hour, Darth Maul himself. And what can I say, an absolutely phenomenal job with his character. Although very cool he’s mostly there to aurafarm, duel, and then die in The Phantom Menace. And, admittedly, I was kinda confused when they showed that he was still alive but everything they’ve done with him from Clone Wars-Rebels-Solo (and now Shadow Lord) has been incredible.

Maul really is the Star Wars equivalent of sisyphus. He has all the makings sith with all the chances to move past it. With Savage, with Talzin, with the shadow collective, and yet every time he chooses to throw it all away for the sake of revenge. Despite failing each time he believes that he can have it all.

And Sidious ruined his life. Took away his childhood, autonomy, brother, mother, and his power and he knows he doesn’t have the ability to fight against him 1 v 1. AND, on a bigger note- he’s craving a family so bad. He tries it with both Ahsoka & Ezra (eventually Q’ira) and now he’s trying to again with Devon. He has Devon now but…..he lost his most loyal followers/friends. And we know he ends alone on Malachor, so I’m excited to see where the show takes him in S2.

🌸Devan Izara🌸

Oh how our cherry blossom Jedi has fallen. Alone, lost her entire culture, and the teachings she grew up on can’t be eaten, can’t be a warm blanket at night. And she tries, and that’s the tragic part she tries so hard to follow the right path. Bit after her master dies, her father figure and lifeline to her old way of living is suddenly ripped from her.

Maul’s teachings start to make more and more sense but there’s a part of her that sees the true him. She empathizes with him while refusing to trust him. And she doesn’t know that maul helped push her master towards death.

I hope she continues to grow in power, eventually becoming more conniving and powerful than Maul. Abandoning him to forge her own path in the galaxy. As a padawan she did exceptionally well and I know she has so much more to show!

Jedi Master Eecko-Dio Dacki- You know shoutout to this man because from the very first trailer leak I thought he’d be a one-off Jedi that would die pretty early on. Similar to the Jedi in TOTE. But each week he surprised me. And old and wise Jedi that’s seen tyranny rise and fall (the High Republic & Nihil 👀) and so he believes the empire is the same. He tries so hard to hold onto his beliefs, has broken ribs for most of the show, and his fighting on but it’s a loosing fight. I really feel for him and his plight. I hope he appears in some high republic stories moving forward.

Rook Kast- She was soooo cool and I’m happy as hell that she didn’t need up becoming the armorer. The no bullshit right hand we respected Maul’s vision and he equally had respect for her. Wish we got to see her interact with Bo-Katan before she died but oh well. Her death Sean was gnarly and I’m happy her actress got to pitch the idea of getting her lungs ripped out. So gross but might as well go all out if you get the chance. Gone but not forgotten, I’ll miss you queen!

Spybot- MY SHAYLA! I miss our evil little cat bot, he actively made me laugh out loud multiple times and I’m so sad he’s gone. Maul was rightfully pissed when he died.

Icurus & Scorn- Maul really respected these two and viewed them as a stand in for his brother, although he’ll never admit it out loud. I figured they’d both die tragically, and of course I was right. They have such cool designs and they went out protecting their nightbrother leader. Pour one out for these guys.

Lawson & Rylee- I fully belive that Lawson is still alive. We saw (or heard 😭) all the other deaths so I figure he might be back to tell Devon the truth. Although, if this is his end I think it’s poetic and a fitting way to go out. And poor Rylee is left with just 2Boots, his mom who works for the empire, and some darkside criminals. This guys entire life just got ruined and I’m excited to see where they take him in season 2.

AHHHHHHH THEY DID THE INQUISITORS SO GOOD AS A LIFELONG INQUSITOR FAN I AM ON CLOUD 9! TRULY COULD’NT BE HAPPIER!!! 💯 🔥 🖤❤️🖤❤️

Marrok (1st Brother)- Marrok was this unspeaking, hunting, force in this show. He successfully duels Maul, Devon, and Dacki multiple times. He’s an incredible duelist and his scene with Lawson was so haunting:terrifying. He even dueled Ahsoka multiple times as well and has the best feats from an on-screen Inqusitor so far tbh. He’s this corrupted dark medieval knight stalking his prey. The way they’re let Marrok’s fighting style so perfectly consistent with Ashoka! He doesn’t jump to hang two blades right away, he’s not a talker, and he’s able to quickly defend himself from incoming blows. His environmental awareness is crazy and he falls back on the spinning blades as a finally measure. Being able to not instantly die to Ahsoka, getting some good hits in on Maul, dueling Daki/Devon & Maul/Devon at the same time as incredibly impressive tbh. So cool to see this storytelling be consistent between both shows. Oh and he had Psychometry, how cool!

The Crow (11th Brother)- The scavenger also creeping around and he a more blunt way of fighting, looking for chinks in the armor while Marrok is fighting. His screech was so terrifying and the way him & Marrok move is so unnatural in the best way. And Marrok has the better force sense and you see that in their interactions. Marrok likes to scare the stormtroopers while crow has clearly seen him do this 100 times. Unnatural Spectors that serve as an actual threat to Maul and his team.

WE NEED MORE INQUISITOR STORIES LIKE THIS (PLS GIVE ISKAT THIS TREATMENT LUCASFILM AND MY LIFE IS YOURS)

Overall an incredible show that delivers on all fronts and I’m so happy that S2 was already greenlit and that we’ll be getting it sooner rather than later. 10/10 highly recommend.

It even brought my partner, who isn’t the biggest SW fan into the franchise. Any project can be ✨that moment✨ for anyone, adults, kids, elderly, that pulls this into this amazing universe.

🖤💜Puella Magi Madoka Magica Walpurgisnacht Rising: New Trailer Analysis🖤💜

AHHHHH NEW TRAILER! And the release date hasn’t been changed (yet) so let’s hope that it still cokes out in August! They really included so much in the trailer so we have a lot to go off of.

There are so many new shots and things to discuss but we don’t have any actual info on the plot. And I LOVE THAT! I went into Rebellion completely blind (no trailers or anything) so I’m excited to go into this movie with no preconceived idea of what the plot is going to be. Now ofc I’m still going to theorize the hell out of the movie but I’m excited to be surprised!

🐻 🧡 Selma Therese (Quitterie) 🧡 🐻

Fist I wanna talk about Selma Therese or Quitterie! From the very beginning I’ve been saying that she’s definitely going to be a “villain” or “anti-hero” type character. We know from the Witch Bio that she was a Magical Girl who gave up everything to save the universe and still beige that she helping save everybody. That plus the plush-Kyubey familiars and Kyubey false head give the impression that she highly respects it.

We also see her smiling with Kyubey on her shoulder in a previous trailer. She looks very nefarious and scary in this trailer and she’s constantly seen with Nagisa. If her and Choka Shi/(Lilac) (Paola) are working together to push the Holy Quintet to help them or fall into despair she may be sent to get Nagisa on board.

She may have known the truth before she made a contract and truly believes in Kyubey’s cause and, although she seems to be working with Choka Shi/(Lilac) (Paola) I do think their paths with diverge.

I’m sure we’ll see her witch form in the movie if the concept movie is anything to go off of.

Also- there’s these 2 bear characters that we see in the trailer. Are they witches? Familiars? A new creature? I’m very intrigued

💚🌊 Choka Shi/Lilac (Paola) 💚🌊

LET IT BE KNOWN THAT I’VE BEEN DEFENDING HER SINCE DAY 1 😂

No but since the first trailer she’s been the one that’s really piqued my interest. While Selma seems more childish hiding a potentially darkness nature, Shi/Lilac seems a lot more calm and calculating (and slightly nerdy)

Her and Kyoko are surprisingly seen a lot in this trailer, I kinda figured that she’d be more focused on Mami. The two of them seem to be close and there’s definitely some relationship theming being thrown around with them. I wonder if she gets closer to Kyoko because Sayaka is pushing her friends away and is to focused on everything that’s happened with Homura. I mean she literally can’t talk in her Magcial girl form.

I similar to Selma I think she’ll be a sort of “villain” or “anti-hero” trying her best to stop Homura and potentially bring about Walpurgisnacht to defeat her. She might start off just trying to manipulate Kyoko (with Kyoko and Nagisa being easier targets that Mami) but they slowly build a real friendship or relationship. Regardless he has an awesome design, weapon, and her and Selma seem to have this martyr complex similar to Madoka.

❤️🥀 Mystery Girl (Law of Cycles?)❤️🥀

Mystery Girl or “Amalgamation Girl” has finally come home! We haven’t seen her since the first trailer and I’m so glad she’s back. Her design (seemingly being a mix of Homura, Mami, and Madoka) undeniably has us all intrigued and I’m very excited to learn more about her.

To me she seems like the “Law Of Cycles” using Madoka’s memories to make a new form. Or perhaps she’s a Magcial girl contracted by Homura who’s now investigating everything that’s been going on.

Mami is here and she’s doing the concept movie pose! I’d say we’ve seen the least about her and that has me hyped. Ofc she’s my favorite character and I’m really hoping she gets some good development and epic moments in the movie. Interestingly enough these red lights seems to be around Mami and Mystery Girl so there may be some connection there.

Also- the Wraiths looks different here. Now this might just be a redesign for the movie or perhaps they’ve started to morph and evolve in Homura’s new world. I feel like there’s room to develop that wraiths and witches at the same time. Very hyped!

Darc (Tart) Magica has finally completed! And they’ve done a fanatic job with it. Now, I do think they could’ve made Enfant Terrible and Isabeau have their own labyrinths/familiars and stretched out the story but it’s still well done.

Of course I loved seeing Crépuscule de La Reine in full 3D glory and the new units have been fun.

Liz (Riz) Hawkwood 🖤- a nice Dark/Buffer makes sense as she’s a support player in their group. Working in the shadows to aid her allies. A nice unit and I’m happy that people finally have Italian Homura. 7/10

Melissa de Vigonolles💙- On the other hand we have Melissa as a Aqua/Debuffer. She’s a sweet girl who looks up to Darc & Liz but has an angry streak like her father. She’s a bit inexperienced but can hit incredibly hard! 8/10

Darc (Final)💖- Another Limited Unit 😭 But for real the animations for the unit are amazing and she’s a solid Light/Attacker. Not as strong as Ultimate Madoka but an incredible strong unit that definitely outshines regular Darc and the rest of the Darc Magica units. 9/10

I look forward to Minou, Lapin, and Isabeau (Witch Ver. & Magical Girl). I’m currently saving up all my gems for future Walpurgisnacht Rising units and only plan on wavering if they release Mami (Rebellion Ver.) or Holy Alina.

🖤MAUL SHADOW LORD IS FINALLY HERE!!!❤️

What an incredible 2-episode premiere, the action, storytelling, animation, pacing, it was all fantastic and I couldn’t be happier. Like, I knew the show would be good but they really hit the floor running with this premiere.

I personally enjoyed EP 1 a bit more than EP 2 but overall I think there’s some really high quality work here. I’m especially excited because so much of the trailer was comprised of these first two episodes so I’m excited to see what we have in store for us in the rest of the season.

Instead of doing a full on review of each episode I wanna dive into how the characters grow and where they’re at! And with that outta the way let’s dive in!

I mean who else should we start with besides the titular character himself! He’s really shining so far but you can tell he’s on the brink.

Something I've really enjoyed about Maul these past two episodes is how calculating he is. We've seen it before it the show really puts on display how intelligent he really is. It's exciting to see him slowly build up his power and reunite the syndicates

Like, he’s lost everything: His role as heir to the Sith, his legs, his brother, his mother, and his control over Mandalore and the underworld. But the key part to all of this is arrogance and need for revenge. He can never leave quite well enough alone, he craves more power and revenge at the cost of what he already has. That why he lost Savage, Talzin, and his power and it’s interesting watching him seek revenge knowing that it will inevitably bring the wrath of the Empire down on him.

He’s also incredibly lonely and feels this insatiable need to teach someone new. He works with Icarus & Scorn because he misses Savage. Shit that’s the reason he taught savage, attempted to turn Ahsoka, and tried to teach Ezra as well and now we’re seeing it again with Devon.

He so desperately wants connection but can’t stop himself from falling into the same pitfalls over and over again. What an interesting and tragic Sisyphus type character. HIS HALLWAY SCENE WAS ALSO SO FUCKING COOL!

Devon Izara is already such a fun character and I hope she becomes an “Ahsoka” like character in the sense that we really see her grow and develop through multiple projects. She has so much potential!

I really feel for her, she’s lost her people, forced to be on the run, and is homeless and hungry how would you expect her to react. But through it all she can’t help “breaking” the rules to try and get food for her & her master and is now wrapped up in this huge scheme.

She senses there’s another way to go about survival that may not entirely line up with the Jedi code and I can already see the cracks in her foundation. But who can blame her, she’s max 18 and is being actively hunted and doesn’t have food, water, or shelter. She’ll do wha she needs to in order to survive but this dos not mean she has abounded her hope or her master yet.

There’s the theory that she’ll become Darth Talon (similar to George Lucas’s initial plans forever Talon & Maul) and I can see that. With Devon potentially becoming a similar dark sided trained by Maul in the future but I’m certain they’ll adapt her story better (and with a better outfit) Also her new pink color with sith tattoos would look so fucking cool!

Unfortunately I feel likeMaster Eecko-Dio Daki is sort of destined to die.

I already feel such a sense of heartbreak & loss between these two. They've lost everything, their people have faded a genocide, they're on the run, starving, homeless, and through it all Master Ecko is attempting to maintain a strong moral code & Jedi values

Ecko is choosing to trust in the kindness of the people and is pursing a quiet life begging for food from strangers. However, during these times people aren't as trusting or giving and it's just another added humiliation to what they're all going through. Devan sees this and knows her master is putting on brave face and tries her best to secure food for them, even if goes against his teachings. She knows her master, and that he'll never let go of his values. And can we blame him? His values are all he has left. When you have nothing sometimes the only thing you can hold onto is your moral code.

But you can’t eat morals. Morals don’t make a shelter and keep you warm at night. Master Eecko is a shining example of the grand inquisitor’s quote “the Jedi code is like an itch” and unfortunately that can oftentimes get them killed.

It must sting for Devan, deep down, having it be Ecko's teachings that landed her in prison and that Maul of all people is the one to break her out. Ecko's teachings don't fully work in this new world and he's playing by an outdated set of rules.

He's trying his best

Brander Lawson is a really fun new addition, he a by-the-books cop who’s trying to hep his city. However, he’s adamant on not bringing in the Empire, knowing what the Empire is capable of and what it would mean for the planet. However, he is over his head and I’m afraid for him and his son. Also, what’s going on with his wife? Are they divorced, is she in prison, is her covering for some crime, who knows. There also seems to be some chemistry with the new character at the bar. I hope we see more of her!

Also Vario is hilarious.

Rook Kast has been a really fun addition as well. She hasn’t gotten much focus, we got a little in Son of Dathomir and nothing in Siege of Mandalore. She’s power hungry, has a dark sense of humor, powerful, and loyal to Maul’s cause. They both have mutual respect and she’s able to communicate her opinions if she disagrees with him- which is refreshing to show him actually taking some advice. She seemed to like the idea of more power when Maul mentioned the potential to defeat Sidious.

Spybot & Two-Boots are perfect! Spybot is so gleefully evil and I’m obsessed. The way you see him purr when Maul scratches his head was perfection! Two-boots is fun and I think he may be the one to tip off the Empire, and his relationship with Lawson is fun.

HAPPY 1 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TO MAGIA EXEDRA!

And before I continue I wanna say a big thank you to everyone involved with this game. It’s been a very hard year and yet this game has been a light through it all.

And now! Onto the fun!

Part 1 & 2 of Crescent Memoria have been a very fun ride and I’m excited to see the conclusion of this story. I’ve been very excited for them since they were announced at the half-anniversary event. More original Exedra characters please!

🌸 Sumire Yoake🌸- With pink being my absolute favorite color it’s no wonder that I love her design. There’s so much mystery around what her wish will be and what ends up happening to her by the time of Magia Record’s main story. And tbh I don’t know if we should fully trust her yet. Her battle animations are gorgeous and she’s a Forest-Attacker. Which hints to a more battle ready role in the future! And we’ve needed a non-limited forest attacked for a minute. (Edit: they’re both limited 😭)

🥀Fuka Higure🥀- A magical girl with a mullet! Enough said! No but for real her design is great and I love the theming of Sumire being the rose and Fuka serves as the thorns. A fun idea and pushes the narrative that there’s a deeper connection between the two. She’s a Dark-Breaker that will probably work well on a team with Humucifer, Ui, Holy Mami, etc while having synergy with Sumire.

New main story for Name! It seems like she’ll finally get some backstory and get the chance to actually interact with the Magical Girls that she’s been learning about.

We don’t know much about Name yet so I don’t have much to say other than the fact that I’m excited to learn more and I trust that they’ll handle the story well.

There seems to be an emergency in the lighthouse and now all Magical Girls must team up to save it. With new battle content called “Exedra Crisis”.

Seems to have varying levels and will probably be harder than Battler, Nightmare, and Chaos levels. I really like the gold-design behind the witches, remind em a lot of Holy Mami.

Crescent Memoria Part 3 seems to have even more 3D Cutscenes which always makes me happy. Really sets it’s a part from Magia Record and the anime and breathes new life into scenes. And we’re gunna get a new perspective on Mel’s death which will be heartbreaking 💔

Also! A brand new surprise! A NEW mystery magical girl shows up in Name’s story! Very exciting and I can’t wait to learn more about her 💙💙💙

A Magia Exedra X Monogatari Series collaboration!

I admittedly don’t know much about the Monogatari series but Shinobu seems pretty cool and I’m happy they’re doing collaborations like Magia Record.

Apparently Shinobu is a vampire magical girl that originally wised “To Die” and has a love for donuts. I’m gonna guess Light-Attacker for her Type & Class. ✨

Ayyyyy everyone called it! Holiday units are all getting a rerun (besides Valentine’s Day) I’m very happy we’re getting another chance to get them because I’ve unfortunately missed out on most of them.

I do wish Valentine’s Day Mami was available but I’m still going to pull for Summer & Halloween Mami! She’s the Goat and I missed out on them when they were originally released.

I do wish they announced more 3 & 4 star characters as well as more Dopple-units and I hope that they get around to finally releasing those sometime soon.

Overall it seems like we’ll be getting a shit ton of gems as gifts, medals will be able to be used in multiple of the holiday banners, and Part 3 of Crescent Memoria 🌙 looks incredible! I’m looking forward to what this year holds for Magia Exedra and Walpurgisnacht Rising content! I love y’all and I wish everyone the best Gacha Luck! 💗🌸💗

SO, Spinel has created one of the most evil devices ever!

Now that we’ve gone awhile having strong spheres in the anime I think that it would be a “fun” mechanic to introduce in a future game or champions.

There should be some obvious upsides & downsides to using a Strong Sphere in battle and I think it would be so interesting to see who irl would actually use the strong sphere and who would choose to shy away from it. I wonder if it would gain popularity among competitive players while the rest of the community is put off….OR, if competitive users will look down upon it as a cheap trick to gain momentum.

Welcome to my Ted Talk

As a mechanic I think it would be a cross between Mega Evolution and Terastilization. There would be an animation where the player throws the Strong Sphere and a puff of pink smoke would envelop your Pokemon. For the rest of the battle they’d have this pink aura around them and their attacks would take on a pinker color.

And there’s how it works. I think that, like mega evolution the Pokemon would gain say 50-100 attack, special attack, and speed. While their defense would be lowered. This gives any Pokemon a chance to be on the same level as a mega Pokemon even if it doesn’t actually have a mega evolution. Imagine a Strong Sphere Incineroar or Garchomp. Hell, weaker Pokemon may finally have a chance to shine like Seaking or Wugtrio. However, just like in the anime there is a downside.

I imagine, similar to the burn status, they’d slowly lose HP every turn. So they’re a lot stronger than your average Pokemon, comparable to Mega Evolution, but you’re actively hurting them. So you have to make that trade off. Do you want to hit hard and fast but increase the likelihood of them fainting or last longer but have weaker mon. If your favorite Pokemon is say Bruxish or Wormadam it gives them a chance to final step up but what are you willing to do to get that?

It’s also on a timer (similar to the way Mega Evolution is used in Legends ZA). I imagine it would last anywhere from 3 to 5 turns and then wear off.

Less on the competitive side of things and more gameplay wise, I imagine that each time you used a Strong Sphere it would lover their friendship level. Weakening the bond between you and your Pokemon.

And of course there’s the more advanced version of the Strong Spheres with the “Super Strong Spheres” (creative name I know 😂).

Certain Pokemon would be able to use this mechanic, gaining an even higher stat boost, and Laquium crystals growing on their body. A boost to all their stats without the defense drop. Showing off something even stronger than mega evolution & it can be used multiple times per battle.

All of the 3 legendary Hero’s would get the boost, and if any other Pokemon in the anime get this boost then let’s add them as well.

To boost the power of Terapagos & reference the anime, we could make it where if Terapagos terasalizes it eliminates the effect of any Strong Sphere or Super Strong Sphere on the field.

In a game context you could fight the explorers, with all the grunts and admins using the strong spheres, even giving the to the player. This would A) Give the player a chance to use the new mechanic and B) Test to see if the player is actually willing to use it. There could be boss battles against the Legendary Hero’s, Gibeon’s Shiny Zygarde, and whatever the hell else Spinel as planned. I feel like this idea definitely has potential and could be expanded depending on where the anime goes.

Im glad that I called it right, not like it was a particularly hard prediction cause they’ve been teasing it for a minute. I figured that they’d just release Tart “or Darc” but we also get blessed with Corbeau as well. I really look forward to playing through the story and I’ve been waiting for the legend of Jeanne d’Arc for a while and I’m so hyped that it’s finally being implemented in the game. Now let’s just dive into it!

Jeanne d’Arc (Tart/Darc)- Such a fun protagonist and I think they do such a good job with her character. Her viewing her job as a Magcial Girl as her holy mission and viewing Kyubey as an angel like figure is such an interesting route to take her character. ("Monsieur Angel”) Her being a Light-Defender makes sense, I mean she’s literally defending her country lol. 💕✨

I’m gunna guess that Final D’Arc will be a limited Light Attacker, similar to Ultimate Madoka.

Corbeau- Yay! My evil butch queer magical girl is here! I think that it’s really fun that she’s the boss for the first memory window, and the window greatly resembles her Doppel tbh. Having magical girl bosses is always fun and I’m glad they’re leaning into it. I do hope we get to fight Lapin’s witch at some point. Debuffer makes so much sense given that she can spread the black plague to her enemies. I do wonder why she’s Void and not Dark. Definitely wanting to roll for both of them.

I’m gonna guess that Isabeau’s Witch will be the boss in the 2nd window. So much happens in the manga and trying to cram it all into 1 window would be insane. Spreading it out is always the best move. Provides more content and doesn’t make as hard to get through. The Uwasa of the Commoner’s Horse for example took SO LONG so get through lol.

So excited to see more 3D elements implemented into the story. Tart Magica deserves it and it’s good that they’re pushing more and more 3D elements in the game, helps set it apart from Magia Record. And it makes it a more immersive, cinematic experience tbh.

Seeing Isabeau’s Witch, Corbeau’s fights, Lapin’s witch, Ruiz’s hell gate attack, and Final Tart will all look so sick in a 3D format.

First off I wanna say that I’m glad that D’Arc & Oriko get featured on the Anniversary key art. More spin off characters deserve to get the spot light. I will say, I have no idea what characters they’ll announce for this. More Oriko characters? More Tart Magica characters? I feel like it should be a “big character” but idk if they’d want to release something like a Kaiten unit so early. The delay probably messed with the timeline. The last time they had a big livestream party with special guests they announced Wraith arc and that was incredible so they have something big to live up to. I’m very hyped for the announcement.

Now look who it is, I was just talking about a new Mami unit the other day and SURPRISE we got her as a Valentine’s Day alt. Based on the witch I thought we were for sure getting either Kuro or Nagisa’s Valentines Alt from Magia Record.

I know some people are upset but hey, Kyoko looks incredible and as a Mami fan I don’t think I could possibly be upset. I’m also very lucky- my beautiful partner saw that she was announced today and decided to get me the gems for her so I can save up for Magia Day 💝

🍎 Kyoko 🍎- Kyoko is a flame-breaker who amps up other flame type characters. She’s obviously special *all holiday limited units are* and she’s has an adorable outfit. She really got the short end of the stick in Magia Record so I’m happy she’s finally getting more holiday units.

🍋 Mami 🍋- Now what do I even say, this is so cute. I really don’t like the swimsuit units tbh & I missed out on the Halloween Mami so I look forward to using her. She’s a healer (and removes debuffs!) which is fun and she’ll probably end up replacing Dopple-Iroha on my team.

I saw an edit on TikTok of her with Laufey’s Valentine and I think that’s such a sweet combo. 💛

People are wondering why where getting so many Mami units but my crack theory is that they’re hyping her up for a big moment in the new movie. She’s only been scene eating desserts and stuff in all the trailers so I think they’re hiding the truth of what happens to her.

Hopefully we’ll actually get Kuro in the future, I look forward to Magia Day & I’ wanna make a prediction post for that later on.

Soooo…… how we feeling Mami fans! 😊🤩😅😅😅

I’m so sorry to all the non-Mami fans out there, I’m sure this is very tiring for you. But I can’t lie! I’m very excited! Mami’s fight against Homura in rebellion was incredible and I can’t tell you how star-struck I was when I first watched it. So getting a new unit based on that scene feels correct.

Everyone online rn is saying that this Kioku artwork will be the one they use for “Mami (Rebellion Ver.)” but I’m not sure. The Exedra wiki says that it was just unused concept art for her kioku portrait. I mean it still looks great but if they do a new one I hope we see her with a more determined expression or with Bebe in the background.

And while we’re at it I would love some more rebellion units. I’m sure Kaiten will have a shit tone so why not through in more Rebellion units.

A Sayaka & Octavia duel unit would be kinda fun. For her animation she could summon Octavia and have her holding Kyoko’s spear going in for an attack with a bunch of different familiars.

A cute Bebe unit would be fun to. Like it starts out so cute but then BAM! Her snake form jumps out an attacks. Plus seeing her little form in your team lineup would look hilarious.

Did anyone feel bad attacking Bebe before the Mami boss fight?

I actually pulled Homucifer without getting to pity! I was sure I’d have to save up and probably spend some more money to get her but thankfully the universe had other plans. I’m not going to lie- it’s been an incredibly stressful weekend so seeing her come up really helped🖤💜🖤

AND MAGIA DAY IS NEXT MONTH! So far they’ve had some some killer reveals. I’ll never forget staying up late to see the Wriath Arc reveal or watching the morning livestream when they first announced the summer units/Walpurgisnacht raising poster. Such fun memories that made me feel part of the community so I look forward to what crazy thing they have planned.

So far the streets are saying that it could be Tart Magica and I’m gunna agree. If I had to guess it could be the introduction to Tart, possibly a Tart unit with Riz or Isabeau (magical girl) units. And probably releasing more 4-star characters as well. It’s probably too soon for Arc 2 and Tart seem to be more popular than the rest of the spinoffs. Although- I would love to be surprised!

I’m gunna take a big guess and say that they’ll announce something soon for Walpurgisnacht Rising. The original show takes place in April so I wonder if that’s the new release month. It would be fitting. And a fun non-spoiler Kaiten unit would be a great tie-in as well.

In the weeks before Magia Day I kinda wanna go over all the spinoffs and brainstorm ideas on how they could be implemented.

The articulated Madoka figure already looks amazing. I’m not a big statue fan so possible figures and nendroids are much more my speed. There’s a blurry picture of Homucifer in her new outfit and I just know that figure is going to be GORGEOUS! All the new girls better get a lot of merch as well!

They’ve been teasing it for a minute now and I’m so fucking ready for it! I’m glad that it’s not just one big labyrinth but 2 fully separated. It seems alike the first one will be focused on the Nightmares and ofc the second one is our girl HOMULILLY! I was initially worried that the nightmares would be overlooked *like the different kinds of Wraiths* I’m happy to see them here.

NOW FOR THE REASON WE’RE ALL HERE

Devil Homura 🪶 💜- She looks so gorgeous in 3D and I’m so glad that we finally got her! Doing Rebellion before Walpurgisnacht Raising just makes sense and tbh I wouldn’t mind an alternate Homucifer outfit based on her new design for the movie. She’s a Dark-Attacker which makes sense as the direct opposite of Madokami. I kinda figured that her attacks would basically be the same from Magia Record- I’m sure they don’t wanna spoil anything she does in the movie . Overall very excited and I’m absolutely praying to Madokami that I’m able to pull her.

Nagisa (Bebe) 🍬 🧡- The people have been BEGGING for Nagisa for mooooooonths! And now we finally have her! But can I just say, Nagisa was always going to come out with Rebellion and I don’t understand people being so mad whenever a character was released thwart wants her. (Although I wouldn’t mind having a Scene-0 version) She’s a Light-Healer and tbh that’s not what I expected. I thought she’d be a Dark-Type character, but she is a secretary of the Law of Cycles so it kinda makes sense. And I think they want at least 1 character of each Type & Class. Overall I’m very happy and would love to pull her 2! I wonder what her Walpurgisnacht Raising version will be like?

We’re getting so much of the movies rendered in 3D and that’s exciting, I can tell they’re pushing the actual 3D elements more and that’s fun! Makes it stand out from Magia Record. The Mami v. Homura fight & Homulilly fight will be incredible!

I hope we get a cool fight for the Clara Dolls, and hopefully they get a fun portrait!

Overall, I’m very excited and I can’t wait to play through Rebellion! I hope there’s a tease for Walpurgisnacht Raising at the end, I think that would be pretty exciting! I’m still annoyed that shaft has clearly been overworking their staff members and have pushed back the movie once again. But let’s say it comes out in March- that would line up perfectly will the Anniversary and I could see a big character form the movie (Madoka, Homura, Mami, or a new Girl) being added then!

YOOOOOO NEW ORIKO CONTENT!!! It’s been awhile and I’m looking forward to more spinoff content. I wonder if it’ll be sadness prayer and if it’ll be its own labyrinth. I haven’t made it to Oriko’s labyrinth in the game *Listen I know I’m slow I’ve just had a fun time slowly going through each labyrinth as I play each new event lol*

Who would the witch be? One of the sadness prayer witches! OR HERE ME OUT- what if Sasa Yuki was the boss fight and each mini boss was one of the witches in her control?

I’m honestly surprised that we’re getting spinoff content so close to Walpurgisnchat Raising. I guess they’re saving Rebellion for the anniversary- which makes sense.

Now onto Koito herself! She’s a bard so I’m gunna guess she’s a Buffer or Healer with Water/Light as her attribute. I do wish they kept her original design, as her redesign is a bit weird given her age tbh. But we never got her in Magia Record so I hope this opens the door for more side characters like the Pledias Saints in the future.

I’m gunna be honest with y’all, it’s been a long few months. I’m sorry!! 🙏🏽 🙏🏽 🙏🏽 To be honest, I was feeling kinda burnt out of Madoka Magica and fandoms like Pokemon, Wicked, and Avatar where all releasing new exciting projects. But with Walpurgisnacht Raising on the horizons *HOPEFULLY 🤞🏽 * I’m ready to dive back in and I’m gunna try my best to pull for her. As a fun way to get back into the swing of things I wanna go over some of the units I didn’t cover from the past couple months. 💝💜

Yay! I was happy to see Mitama & Mifuyu finally implemented into the game. People had been begging for Mifuyu for months and I think they did her justice.

Mitama makes sense as a Void-Healer tbh, I think all of coordinators will be a Void Healer/Buffer/Debuffer. I do think the animation for is special is underwhelming but I guess there’s not much to do when her weapon is a silk cloth and she can’t use offensive magic.

On the other hand Mifuyu’s animation is gorgeous and from what I’ve heard she’s a pretty strong Dark/Breaker. One of my favorite parts of the game is seeing each Magical Girl’s portrait, the artists all do such a beautiful job!

I’m gunna say this before we talk about some of the Holiday Units- I’m not the biggest fan of them 😅😅 I’M SORRY! I get why they exist and I want them to keep implementing them, but they don’t excite me as much as new characters do. And now- let’s get this thing rolling!

Halloween Mami is my favorite of all the holiday units, thanks in part to Mami being my favorite character (yes I’m biased) but using Bebe was adorable and I’m happy we got Candeloro crumbs in her ultimate. I’m begging Aniplex/Studio Shaft to see Candeloro in animation!

Halloween Alina was a fun surprise addition, I figured she’d be our first duel unit with Halloween Karin but I understand not wanting the first duel unit to be a limited one. Overall I think it’s cool but not super thrilling to me.

Now onto our Christmas Units! Now I’m not gunna lie, with Christmas spending there was no way I was able to pull these. I tried hard for Kyoko but it just wasn’t in the cards, hopefully that means I’m saving my luck for something special.

Christmas Kyoko & Sayaka have such a fun Santa/Krampus vibe going on and I’m glad we got Magia Exedra exclusive holiday units that aren’t tied down to Magia Record’s roster.

Christmas Ren & Rika are adorable and they look like they’re about to go on the sweetest Christmas outing. And I will say it was nice of them to give one of them away for free as a sweet Christmas present to players 🎁

And finally we’ve gotten to 2026!!! I’m excited about the new year (despite the horrifying things happening around the world I’m trying to find some joy) and we’ve started out the year with a bang! Haregi Madoka is cute and it’s funny we’re 1 unit away from having a full Madoka team, and a full team if you use both Lux-Magica & Pluvia-Magica. Kanae is back and now we have the whole team reunited at last! Dark Debuffer works perfectly for her and I think she’s matches great with Fuka Higure.

I got to see Avatar Fire and Ash the other day and let’s just say- I fucking adored it! It felt like it was built in a lab to check off all the things that I look for in a movie. Let’s just say this off the bat, it’s such a beautiful movie. And I KNOW, this goes for all Avatar movies but there where multiple times where I would turn to my friend and say “this is the most beautiful shot of the movie” and then 5 seconds later an even more gorgeous shot would show up and bless my eyes.

It’s also very topical for what’s going on right now. Speaking on oppression and how far is “to far” when it comes to fighting back against those subjecting you. The answer (thankfully) is that there’s never a “to far” when it comes to protecting your people. Now, that’s not to say you can become misguided and take this anger out on your own people. And the themes of grief, loss, environmental impact, and how religion shapes your views. What does it mean to have faith and how do you fill the gaps within your heart when your faith crumbles.

Varang- FUCKING VARANG!!!! The my new favorite character from the Avatar franchise and I support women’s rights & wrongs! But on a serious note seeing someone so scarred from having her land/people destroyed that she turns on her goddess and becomes this “avatar” of destruction is such a perfect background for her. She takes the darkest parts of Na’vi culture and twists them- seeing her cut off kurus was deeply disturbing. She’s after more power and to discrete the laws set by Eywa, and this all culminates in her relationship with Quaritch. She sees power, strategy, and builds a twisted relationship with him that’s so cool to watch unfold. Honestly- I may make a follow up post just dedicated to her cause I have so much to say lol. 11/10

Quaritch- Quaritch has changed from the start to the end of the film. There’s a divide between him and the human settlers. I think he sees a darkness in Varang, a lust for power, and a way to build up a new group of people after his first team died. I believe that he initially planned to manipulate the Mangkwan-clan but started to feel more at home with them over the course of the movie. He’s started to change for the better, he wants to be in Spider’s life but he still hold onto his hate. I’m very invested in where his relationship with Varang & Spider goes in the 4th film. (THE WAY HE DEFENDED AND WAS PROUD TO STAND BY VARANG ON THE BASE KILLS ME EVERYTIME) 8/10

Neytiri- Neytiri has such an investing story in this film and her and Varang are such good parallels to each other Neytiri has lost her forest, her father, and now her son. She’s lost in a sea of grief and the only thing holding her together is her religion. It grounds her and keeps her head afloat, but she can’t help but let her hate for the humans consume her. To the point where her own children’s mistakes reflect back on their human half. She advocates for Spider’s death multiple times but, when it comes down to it, she can’t bring herself to let him die because he’s just as much a son to her as her other kids. Plus shes still a fucking badass through and through. 10/10

Jake Sully- Jake is mirroring Neytiri in the way that she’s diving deep in her religion to aid her grief while he’s pushing his relationship with Eywa away in his own grief. He blames himself for every tragedy that’s hit his family and then externalizes this feeling into his family. When he looks at Lo’ak he sees his own “failure” and pushes everyone away. Such good representations of grief, religion, and how we fight against our oppressors. 9/10

Kiri- Kiri is an interesting case because we’re seeing the start of her journey to truly embodying Eywa and her power. She’s growing in courage, strength, and fights to keep those around her safe. The scene where her family joins her and they push forward to see Eywa together made me cry and I look forward to seeing what they do with her in future films. And, although I kinda saw it coming, the kiss between her & Spider was still a bit weird for me personally. 7/10

Ronal- MY SHAYLA 😭😭😭 So sad this absolute diva died and I will personally sue James Cameron for all that he’s worth. Her relationship with Neytiri was complicated but special. They both held a deep respect for each other while at the same time neither one of the them could stand each other. I hope that she’s able to watch over her baby from the afterlife and she deserves nothing but the best. I’ll pour one out for you queen. 10/10

Spider- Okay, I know people either love or hate him but I genuinely like his character. Can he be kinda annoying….yes, but! I like his found family dynamic with the rest of the kids, he adds to their group dynamic and I always love seeing them just be kids together.

Lo’ak & Tsireya- I just want good things for Lo’ak & Tsireya! All of their moments were so heartfelt and I hope that they can build a future together. Lo’ak almost committing suicide due to his overwhelming grief hit me so hard in the theater and it’s a scene that will definitely stick with me for years. Him reforging his brother’s old bow, aiding Payakan with his friends, and fighting to protect his siblings, he was the GOAT this entire movie. 10/10

THIS FILM IS ABSOLUTELY BREATHTAKING. From the scene with Jake & Spider, Neytiri flying across the moon, the Tulkun council, every scene was fucking gorgeous and it was a feast for the eyes the entire time. Is so refreshing given how so many movies these days look so pale and lifeless in comparison.

I look forward to the 4th film and how they’ll show off Earth (I’m imagining a wall-e situation) hopefully we’ll get more of Varang, the kids growing to be strong adults, and more tribes on Pandora. Please James Cameron give us an Arctic clan 🙏🏽

I’ve been watching these movies since I was a kid and, although the animals and atmosphere have always stuck with me they’ve never left a lasting impact. Way of water hit hard but this movie was gone above & beyond. I can’t stop thinking about it and I’m going to try and see if a few more times. Hoping to get an IMAX screening soon!
