so for homura to lose her powers in any capacity, i think she would have to be defeated from the inside: by shaking her (belief in her) feelings, or by forcefully removing them the way the wraiths did.

After reading Wraith Arc, it’s kinda surprising that the same Homura that sacrificed her own magic to protect Madoka’s world is the same one in Rebellion who sacrifices Madoka’s world for her own desire…
Like it would make sense if the part of Homura’s magic that interweaved with MadoWraith was the one that fronted for that decision bc that’s the bit that looks out for Number One and the way things were before

nothing new has happened yet but the art style is gorgeous + i really really appreciate the decision to stick them both in generic white dresses instead of what the show did. it was always such a baffling choice to make a plot point of them trading hair accessories on the astral plane but then making them naked otherwise like come on

that was a really wonderful chapter!!! no homura yet but i'm having so much fun with these three that i really don't want her to show up yet. it seems like most of the pieces are so close to being in place for sayaka to die (well, go to magical girl heaven) that the only thing in the way is that homura seemed to be an accepted part of the team when sayaka vanished. and i would like to keep sayaka as long as we reasonably can.
