I made a prop version of the carved nordic Sword (1h) from the Skyrim Dragonborn DLC. My favourite weapon in the game and a steel Version will come as well. Made with Foam core and Worbla covering, leather wrap on the grip and fake, greased fur.

Something different this time. Since Winter and Work took quite the toll this year I needed to go for a light cosplay for the last comiccon this year. So I opted for the Science Team (TM) This is Raimund C. Osplay, my weapons developmemt engineer from the Black Mesa Research Facility. Not sure exactly how intentional it was from a writing perspective, but it's cool how stoic and unpanicked the Nords are when it's become clear the Dragons are coming back.
Like they know dragons can appear anytime, anywhere (and often do) yet there's not really anybody freaking out or panicking.
Theres no riots, theres no refugees trying to flee to other provinces, theres no mass panic of any kind. People seem wary but largely just try to live their lives and perform their duties.
They all seem to agree it's very serious threat for which they need to prepare, and some even seem bummed they aren't actively getting to fight the dragons due to their other obligations.
Even if it wasn't that intentional from a writing perspective, it really meshes well with the general attitude of Nords which is:
"We live. We work. We fight. We die."
"Do all of those with honor, rise to any challenge, and never back down."
Maybe Nords are basically just TES vikings but gosh darn I find them neat.
I absolutely second that. And that the Atmorans had to leave atmora due to the Ice makes it even more fascinating. The people who can basically endure all being forced from their home. I strive to be this stoic!
