Pillow forts were a Saturday night tradition for y/n and Sarah. Using every pillow in the Cameron mansion made it even more comfy. They always left a space so they could watch movies while they layed in the fort. They would talk about nothing and everything. Currently certain boys were being talked about. “So Cameron, spill it! You and John B?” Y/n winked at Sarah as she fell back laughing. “How about I’ll tell you about my love life when you tell me about yours?!” Sarah smirk before throwing popcorn at y/n. Y/n blushed and starts laughing. Before she could answer, a slam was heard somewhere in the large house followed by fast foot steps. Y/n looked at Sarah with a confused face before a green blanket was thrown in the fort followed by a crawling kook. Literally. “Rafe! What the fuck are you doing!? You’re gonna ruin our fort and our girls night!”Sarah screeched. Rafe said nothing but layed down next to y/n before throwing the blanket over them both and pulling y/n into his side. “Well I figured I should be here if you’re gonna talk about y/n’s love life.” Rafe said in a matter of fact tone, making y/n gasp but he quickly kisses her. “OMG! Y/n! Rafe are you serious!?” Sarah exclaimed with her hands over her mouth. “Well in my defense,Sarah, how the hell was I supposed to tell you I’m with your brother?” Y/n retorted,cuddling into Rafe’s chest as he played with her hair. “Well I guess I don’t want details then but I swear to god,Rafe, if you hurt her, I swear I’ll kill you myself!” Sarah said finally settling in and watching the movie again. “Oh don’t worry,sis, I won’t hurt her unless that’s what she wants” Rafe smirks at y/n before winking. Y/n whacks Rafe’s chest before laughing so hard,tears were streaming down her cheeks. “EW! You’re both perverts!” Sarah cringed. “Oh please! I’ve slept over at Chateau enough times to know how perverted you and John B are,Sar.” Y/n retorted earning a laugh from Rafe. Sarah turned bright red and started throwing pillows at y/n. “I hate you!” Sarah giggles before settling back down to enjoy the movie.

i haven't seen any posts about this going around on tumblr yet, and i know theres a lot going on around the world but this is an issue that needs (and has always needed) more coverage tbqh.
Kylie Jenner has recently been under fire for her clothing line in collaboration with Kendall Jenner, Kendall + Kylie, refusing to pay Bangladeshi apparel workers making their products. the company is owned by Global Brands Group, which has decided not to pay the workers due to the lack of sales during the pandemic. people started speaking up about the payment issue on Kylie's instagram, but instead of a proper response comments were being deleted and eventually limited.
however, the issue doesn't begin and end with Kendall + Kylie, the treatment of factory workers in Bangladesh is a problem with a long overdue response. most of these people are women working in gruelling conditions, being paid in dust and recieving little to no benefits. their lives are seen as disposable. during the quarantine, factories continued production but laid off a quarter of the workforce while the rest still face the threat of wage cuts and lack of access to healthcare.
all the fast fashion we consume like Gap, Primark, Forever 21 and C&A comes at the cost of labour exploitation in developing countries like Bangladesh. this is the country where the main source of income is textiles, where the 2013 Rana Plaza incident killed 1,100 factory workers alone, where workers constantly protest for better salaries and safer conditions, and yet they recieve not even an ounce of dignity for their hard labour. change needs to happen, better sooner than later.
