there was commentary about storytelling and a part where Sasha and Jon mock the weird poetry with an exchange something along the lines of "Freaking cries of shriek!" "Thank the gods of colony I don't make you hear my speech."

I think the story ended with Jon writing his own poetry and controlling what happened in /his/ story through it.

i only bring it up because it was so vivid that I thought it was real + i saw the entire fic/read it aloud that when i woke up I muttered "what the fuck" under my breath. i feel like the Eye itself ding dong ditched a fic to me that you wrote in an alternate universe

Oh cause green is associated with the Beholding or like, the fears in general. And Jon starts out highly sceptical and repulsed by everything supernatural, before he starts morphing into an avatar of the fears himself. And purple is the completary/opposite colour of green.
