I LOVE MY OCS okay so i’ve been thinking so much about my vampire ocs lately , virgil and lazarus . virgil was born in the year 1900, lazarus being. well. yall know the dude from the bible . i stole the dude from the bible as my oc because the first dude to ever get resurrected? you mean the first VAMPIRE!!??? okay yeah i got bored in church a lot .
anyway . i’ll probably do a lore dump later because im obsessed with them but right now there’s one part i want to talk about because im iffy on the details.
i love amnesia plot lines like some kind of freak , and lazarus Dies. straight up goner. okay? 1982. virgil mourns him for four(ish) decades, bringing us to the present(ish). virgil has a kid who summons abel (demon who used to follow lazarus around before DYING and getting dragged back to hell because job over) . and in return God themself )who we don’t get to see or meet ever because i think it’s interesting to have deities exist but never be shown . some guiding force in the background but probably on vacation or smth . ) BRINGS BACK LAZARUS. you’re back in the game pal . abel’s back and they have like a weird string of fate together but not one they forged . abel is in love with lazarus , lazarus doesn’t know abel.
there is yet another string of fate, and that is the one that binds lazarus and virgil. after four decades of mourning, lazarus is back. and this is where i’m iffy on the details because there’s a few directions i’ve been messing with and like :
first one- lazarus can’t remember SHIT. he’s just here to help people in a weird catholic way oh yeah there’re all catholic i forgot to mention. yeah it’s for the vibe i don’t actually agree with catholicism. but virgil is like hoooolyyy shit he’s back . and doesn’t remember anything . and the guilt is eating him oh yeah virgil had a BIG hand in his death haha whoops. but they slowly bond again and lazarus falls head over heels for virgil who . already loves him because that’s lazarus even if he doesn’t remember . idk but then he has to lowkey become a vampire again and remembers and shit goes down and the town lowkey has to be saved and i’m doing worst job ever explaining this ssorryyyyy
second: lazarus doesn’t remember anything, and virgil doesn’t recognize him . he’s like yeah this kinda looks like lazarus but some things are different and he’s gone and i can’t pretend it’s him or ill go crazy . i like the angst potential in both
third: lazarus does remember all that and can’t face virgil at first . they both remember and it’s a weird situation and they have to address everything that happened while also going through the craziest shit imaginable because . there’s a demon in town and more on the way . there’s other vampires who are lowkey stupid as hell but causing terror . and worst of all? there’s CATHOLICS!!!!!! oh i forgot to mention the lesbian gang of sirens who have a nonprofit environmentalist business to take over the seven seas featuring virgil’s ex wife who is . morally interesting .
