Hi, welcome to my blog!

(I actually don't remember how intro post are supposed to go so... I'll edit this as it goes)

Many of you know me by different names, but I think I'll be going by a nickname this time. You can call me Amethyst or Ame (this crystal holds a lot of significance to me, so I think it'll be a perfect fit)

Things that interest me: mineralogy, petrology, sociology, physics, pigmentology, linguistics, and toxicology

fandoms I'm in: UT/DR, Steven universe, houseki no kuni, ruri no houseki, TOH, KOG, TADC, youhitmetal17times (I know the fandom is dead and idc), dungeon meshi; ATLA, LWA, WW/WWATT, QOTSA, Nirvana, Ena dream bbq, hollow knight, superliminal, the stanley parable, there is no game

hobbies: i LOVE DYI stuff, also collecting rocks and identifying minerals. I'm interested in learning new stuff and listening to music too

. I want to get 4 to 6 college degrees in my life

. I'm entering one of the most difficults college courses of my country

. My dream job is something lab related or determinative mineralogy related

. I want my future home to look like a museum (I'm already making posters with diagrams)

. I do cosplay and play rolegames (2nd campaing for now) from time to time. I mostly enjoy it but there are logistical issues that make it difficult to consider them proper hobbies

. English is my second language! I welcome you to correct any typos I may have (honestly, that would be of great help). I speak 3 languages for now

.I'm queer. I won't disclose any labels here but this one feels right, tho most of you will be able to guess some of my more "private" labels in no time based on what I post

. I'm alternative. I listen to alternative, grunge and stoner rock, and my outfits are heavily influenced by many subcultures (punk, grunge, goth, and emo inspirations all can be seen in what I wear). However, I always want to let my more nerdy side show through my fashion choices
