We all know that Aziraphale's little stunt at the Bastille was a cry for attention from Crowley. Mr "I-Can't-Use-'Frivolous'-Miracles-to-Save-Myself-but-I-Can-Use-Them-to-Change-My-Clothes" A.Z. Fell was lonely and missing his demon buddy and thought putting himself in danger like a damsel in distress would get Crowley out of hiding and you know what it worked.

So what if Crowley's holy water heist was the same thing.

You can buy holy water. Like, straight up buy it in any church or religious bookshop. You can call up your local church and ask for some. Nowadays you can get "fancy" holy water off the internet. So Crowley had lots of options to get what he wanted without the theatrics.

Yes I know out drama demon was a slut for the thrill and theatrics of planning a big, silly heist but what if he were thinking "GEE, I SURE WISH SOME ANGEL OF HEAVEN CAME DOWN AND SAVED ME FROM MY RIDICULOUSLY BAD IDEA AND HELPED A BROTHER OUT" and then was shocked to find out if actually worked!
