a lot of my friends don't know this about me, so here we go. back in February, I spent a month away from work at a partial hospitalization program (PHP) for binge eating disorder, depression and anxiety. a lot of things in my life changed at that program: learning how to assert my needs, what behaviors are healthy for me, and basically how to love myself. while some people think that is an easy thing in life to do, you'd be surprised at how challenging it feels. when I was done with PHP, you get a stone at the end with the word you feel represents your journey. for me, that's perseverance. as hard and dirty as life gets (and apparently my stone has gotten some dirt too 🤐), you must persevere. keep going. and this is my reminder to do so. it's my life, and life continues to move and grow. #persevere #bingeeatingdisorder #depression #anxiety #mystory (at Home [where the heart is])

that's the correct phrase, right? my roommate has been taking money from a drawer that we use to buy things we sell. that money originally came from my bank account. he is convinced that it was ok to do this without telling me and it wasn't a lie because he would pay it back. so something that originally had let's say 1100 invested in it now has 300ish left. and I wasn't fucking aware. he says "I took it out because I needed to eat - what, you want me to starve?" and here I sit, wondering how all that money could go without me realizing until right now. I'm pretty damn positive that the last time we got our items, it was the same amount as always, and now it's 1/4 of what we started with. last time I counted that money was at the beginning of the month when I threatened to kick him out and there was at least 700 of it. did he pay me rent money with this? did he buy himself his damn controller with this? and yet because he "would pay it back - you know I pay back, I promise" we can't fucking run the business. so with all that said, here I sit in mass confusion of what to do. knowing he has nowhere to go, knowing he was living out of a car before, what the fuck do I do? the smart person would say - what do you mean what should you do? you kick him out. he's manipulated you for god knows how long, and taken advantage of your friendship because "that's how he survives" the kind person in me says - he has nowhere to go, I'm all he has. you wanna talk about regrets? this is one step under regretting my first boyfriend. and this situation reminded me of that, and I said from the get-go, don't let this turn into a James situation. and that's exactly what it's become. fuck.

Otis knows how I feel. he doesn't feel the same way. so I bought a membership to match.com. I have a date this Friday. BOOM.
