let's start off with major differences between my looks first

day appearance

long, wavy golden brown hair

heterochromia; left eye is green & right eye is hazel (yes i know the pics are both left eyes? 😭)

freckles (prominent freckles on face and chest)

night appearance

long, wavy dark brown hair

heterochromia; left eye is blue & right eye is gray/grey

freckles turn white to sort of mimic stars

hand tattoos; on my left hand i have the sun with a bunch of flowers and stars & on my right hand i have the moon with a bunch of stars (yes i know it's actually henna in the pic but it was almost exactly what i envisioned)

if you try shift and your mind tells you “oh you can’t do this it isn’t real.” that’s just your mind instinctively blocking your train of thought. it’s not your fault at all.

and the influence of anti shifters really does get to you sometimes and you do have second thoughts, but what do anti shifters know about shifting?? they’re so convinced it isn’t real it’s pathetic.

so believe in yourself babe. trust yourself. tell yourself it’s real. instead of waking up from a shifting attempt that didn’t succeed, say to yourself “it’s fine, im one step closer to getting into my dr.” turn the negative into positives.

"A(r)mor"

the central idea here is joan of arc (yeah it should already be too clear that I'm obsessed with her) but I simply love the way I delve into her story and the way in which gothic aesthetic can come together with all of this.

as always, my songs are full of metaphors, sometimes even satire, songs with meanings that are much deeper than they seem. In most of the songs (on this album) I sing about how everything is harder when you're a woman, how difficult it is to be heard and fully understood. each song speaks of injustice and betrayal. persecution, the need to prove oneself "pure" and worthy. prove it, prove it, prove it again, and they will still doubt it. you'll be condemned, you'll end up being accused anyway. you will be alone with your truth.

It's about how being taken seriously is like embarking on a nearly impossible mission. but if you're a man, half a word will suffice — and somehow he'll still play the victim. that's how "bigmouth strikes again" came about. although I sing it, it's from a man's point of view, who claims to know what it feels like to not be understood — a satire. an irony.

one of the songs that I reallyyy like the idea behind and that I most wanted to hear on this album is "prey" because I know there's a reference, a kind of duality and pun with the word "pray," going back to the initial idea. It's like telling her story as a gothic tale where I expose the injustice she suffered. I tell the story about her life, but mainly about her death, and how courageous she was until the end. beyond all that, I talk about love for others, compassion, and humanity. and that's where the reference to the name itself comes in; "armor" without the "r" becomes simply "amor" (love in latin)
