Ravenous

My fiance was fired from their job (Dollar General, which is a shitty company, won't go into more details) and I am disabled and currently fighting for disability between appointments with pain management and neurosurgery. We desperately need money to feed us, our animals, and have gas to get me to and from doctors appointments. There's a bony growth near my brain, y'all, I might end up needing surgery to remove it, on top of the other shit wrong with me. Any help is appreciated. I have PayPal and Venmo.

I'm removing the "goal". Every penny we get will go to food for two humans, two cats, gas and car maintenance, and necessities. There is no "goal", only surviving. My fiance is looking for a job. I have upcoming appointments with a neurologist and a neurosurgeon. Appointments with doctors assigned to me by Social Security. Lawyers for my disability claim. We are just trying to survive through it.

There's this guy currently watching and reacting to Bleach on Tiktok and his videos are usually pretty enjoyable. What's hilarious is that at first he was like, "What the fuck is wrong with this guy?!" and now we've gotten to TYBW and Mayuri showed up in his glowing sun suit and he was like, "MAYURI! :D"

I have no interest in high school but I DO have a thing for teachers. My contribution to the Bleach high school AU is Dr. Kurotsuchi.

He insists on being called Dr. because he has a doctorate. He is ruthless in grading, and a huge asshole to fellow teachers and students.

If his and Mayuri’s respective modifications were any indication, each and every Zanpakutō had their own unique way of being worked on.  Mayuri hadn’t said much about his, other than a few mutterings about gold and insect guts, some kind of gilded vivisection, whereas his own had been a matter of thread, an infinitely complex cat’s cradle of crimson-bright strings.  Neither here in reality nor there, in the Zanpakutō’s inner world, it was something of a liminal space, a connector between the two.  It would be interesting to investigate someday – an entire new field of research devoted to the unique and intricate guts of a Shinigami’s most intimate bond.

Yet that subject, just like the space itself, was neither here nor there.  What mattered were his own guts – or threads, rather – and exactly what he’d cut.

which comparativrely speaking, it really wasn't. Oh, the weird colorful stuff above the eye and throughout is supposed to be a zoomed in Madagascan sunset moth, I wanted zoomed in Jizo wings but my attempt just kinda looked like roof shingles

How do you think Mayuri would react if he came back home and found his pet crying in bed?

Especially if you were too distraught to speak or just, couldn't really tell him what's going on at the time.

I kinda want him to sedate me rn

Mayuri walked into his home and knew almost immediately something was... Off. He didn't hear you in the kitchen, didn't see you in the den when he poked his head in. His suspicion was growing, making him narrow his eyes.

His concern only grew when he opened the door to your shared room and saw you huddled in bed, a pillow clutched tightly to your face to muffle the sobs, your shoulders shaking with the distress. Nested in the blankets, curled up in a trembling ball, obviously distraught.

Mayuri approached the bed, watched you quiver under your layers. He slowly sat on the edge, spoke in low tones.

"What could possibly be the matter, pet? What's happened to make you so upset?"

You raised your look at him briefly, only to be overtaken by fresh sobs, crocodile tears streaming down your red-blotched cheeks. You buried your face against the pillow again.

Mayuri nodded sagely. He stood, made his way to the kitchen. A dose of his special tea was in order. When he had the warm cup in his hands, he returned to the bedroom and sat on the bed again. Crooned for you to raise your head long enough to drink your medicine.

You obeyed through tears and hiccups.

Mayuri drew you into his lap, blankets and all, and held your bundled form against him while the tea did its work. The sobbing ebbed to sniffles, which turned to drowsy little whimpers. Mayuri held you close, petting your covered head.

"That's it. You took your medicine like a good pet. Feeling better already, hm?"

The tea was working quickly. Your body relaxed, your mind slowed. Sleep was washing over you, soothing away the upset. You nodded once, let your head drop against your masters shoulder. Closed your eyes.

Mayuri continued stroking your head, his other arm caged around your middle.

"That's right. No more tears tonight, pet. Be good and rest. You can tell me all about when you wake."
