For a company that has a reputation for treating its customers and employees well, Costco has shockingly bad/inefficient customer service. I'm on my 4th agent and all have followed the exact same script:

Ooooh Spain (world no 1) is playing the USWNT (world no 2) in a friendly at Audi Field in October. I'm already seated (assuming ticket prices aren't absolutely insane).

I managed to get tickets to this yesterday, in great seats, at a reasonable price, with almost no wait even though I logged in a full 15 minutes after the presale started. Surprising, but yay!

Reading online today though, I'm realizing that maybe the reason I got lucky is that it seems like a ton of people (maybe even the majority?) had trouble with the site crashing, getting kicked out of the queue, and/or having issues with the presale code, so that when they finally got through, they ended up with mediocre to bad seats that cost more than mine, if they managed to get seats at all.

Apparently it's Green Week or something so the cafeteria put out a snack table of green foods, but it's like: 1) an assortment of pickles, 2.) a bowl of grapes and honeydew, and 3.) cupcakes with green frosting.

Normally, people tend to get frustrated, even jokingly, if they miss out on something. This comment was on a song from 1974 and it made me smile quite much. Simply appreciative. Like a dessert after dinner.

It is genuinely mind blowing to me just how many Tumblr posts have changed my life for the better and taught me to be happier. Not all of the thoughts originate on Tumblr, but the way people collect and frame them has literally changed my brain chemistry.

I wouldn't say I know too much about photography, but I'm really enjoying Szilveszter Makó's celebrity portraits and his style is so distinct that I recognize his work immediately now. Maybe someday I'll find it gimmicky (a la Annie Leibovitz) but for now I love it.
