Off topic, but I’ve been really getting frustrated with color theory recently. Like.. I feel like whatever I do, I just can’t make anything realistic and life-like.. I dunno… I do love my own style (I rlly love using neons and poppy colors >.^) it’s just that I want to be able to expand and give things (such as scales) more texture and feeling. I feel like I just get stuck with ONE color sometimes and don’t know what to do to make it look realistic.

1. i wasnt allowed to watch tv for a while as a kid and even then we only had pbs when i was a kid so i really just watched pbs kids shows. and mainly ones from like the 70s-90s for some reason. also some newer stuff too tho. and there were lots of movies that i really liked but the ones i remember really well were (are): singin' in the rain (<- still one of my top 4), bedknobs and broomsticks, white christmas, the court jester, the kingdom of fairies, and more. i was super into opera as well for some reason?? i also really liked fairy tale theatre with shelley duval.
2. i didnt really know what i wanted to be but people kept asking me so i just made stuff up. i remember telling people i wanted to be a veterinarian, which is for sure not true.
3. idk im kind of always looking forwards to getting older. i have the autistic trait of feeling like i've always been 48 years old and im just waiting to actually get there
4. not by a long shot !! i was bullied from preschool up to middle school but in high school people just kind of dont pay attention to me unless they need me to do their work for them. which is nice for me

might aswell do one of these again 1: there were alot of things that i actually used to watch and i vividly remember as a kid, from dinosaur/dinosaur ajacent shows (like dinotrux or dino dana) or some sci fi ones like tron or the early seasons of red vs blue (i remember that red vs blue used to be on netflix). but one that i always remember was vividly watching ultraman as practically a baby alongside my parents in their bedroom 2: when i was a little kid i wanted to be a youtuber (which to some extent i still want to be), specifically a youtube gaming channel because i played a lot of stuff and because i was inspired by most of the iconic youtubers at the time, who were mainly minecraft youtubers 3: i never gave much thought about growing up. at some point i jus didnt want to age, infact i wanted to be immortal, but as i grew up i realized that was kinda stupid 4: maybe, probably because i liked showing my drawings to people, but i never knew how to socialize properly initially

My favorite childhood show was How to Train Your Dragon: Race to the Edge. I remember binging it at least three times with my older sibling! I would always insist on rewatching either Imperfect Harmony or that one episode where Ruffnut and Tuffnut nearly burn down the island (and I could go on for hours on how Viggo is the best hhtyd villain for Hiccup to face). I was also a big fan of multiple versions of My Little Pony (mainly Friendship is Magic, but some of the older ones too). Fav childhood movie was probably either Mulan or the Land Before Time series, had to have watched those several hundred times.
I wanted to be a veterinarian when I was a little kid. I’m not really sure if I really want it nowadays, but I’m going that direction and we’ll see where the path takes me!

1. My favorite childhood show was... I think Team Umi Zoomi! Well that's from my like CHILDhood childhood. From my older childhood years like my teens, I'd obviously say The Owl House! Dana got done SO DIRTY OMIGOSH!! And as for my favorite childhood movie, I'd say Thor Ragnarok. It was the first movie I actually enjoyed watching of my own volition, and opened my eyes to the idea that movies can actually be good! Thank you, Jeff Goldblum.
2. As a kid I always wanted to either be a singer or an animal vlogger. My mom suggested I be a vet or a dancer but obviously I hated those ideas! I used to watch this guy on YouTube who went all over the world, making videos about exotic or not traditionally known animals and bugs. I was very inspired by him, though nowadays I can't even remember his name. What a cool guy.
3. Age I've been afraid to turn? Huh... I guess I'd say 30 since I just decided at a young age that I'd simply accept death if it came for me after 30. Like if I get sick with some disease or if I get attacked, I won't fight it. Just accept the concept of my moryality or whatever. Idk, that's kinda the extent of my age fear... (Though I can imagine turning 80 will be HELL.)
4. Bruhhhh I was NOT popular AT ALL in elementary school. I was known in middle-school probably as the "Weird kid," but I've always been in a small school where everybody knows everyone so that shouldn't really count. In high-school I'd only say I was popular enough to have a really big friend group/clique, and I was like. Known by everyone. But not "Popular," I guess. 1. My favorite childhood show, I THINK was Steven Universe but MOSTLY My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Wild Kratts was a big one too. *GASP* AND HELLO KITTY… 💖 Pengu was a big one as well. And I also just loved watching these nature documentaries about dinosaurs and the past (they were RLLY COOL, still are). I DID watch a lot of How To Train Your Dragon (Race to the Edge and all other versions, BUT NOT the Nine Realms, I just didn’t like how it looked 🙂↕️). My favorite childhood Movie (Gosh I have many..) but there was this one movie called Yellow Bird or something and I always remembered this one scene from it. It wasn’t my favorite but it was like one of those childhood movies you just REALLY remember a part of. But I think my all time favorite childhood movie was Dino King (the first one). I loved it so much. The Tinkerbell spin offs were also VERY awesome, and I watched a lot of Minecraft YouTubers.
2. As a kid I rlly don’t remember what I wanted to be. I was just “being” ✨. Umm.. but if I had to guess it would probably be a dancer or a youtuber. I RLLY WANNA BE an animator (I LOVE LOVE LOVE animation so much and actually plan to minor in it in College hopefully. Not full-time career, but a firm hobby! It’s just that hand-drawn animation just takes so long… ); But I feel if I’m in the mood I WOULD lock in it would be fire and so fun!!

I’m not really afraid of any ages, they are a part of life and therefore I will love and accept all of them and the wisdom and new experiences they bring me ^.^ But I feel like what I WOULD be afraid of is not doing or having something BY a certain age. You know? But I am a little nervous about the ages I’m going INTO at the moment. THERE’S A LOT YALL.. 😭 Lot of work, AND decisions, BUT I am very excited to know what happens next! I just hope I make the right choice..
4. Omgsh this was such a weird topic. Okay, I feel like I was popular, but I didn’t KNOW I was, and I was usually very lonely. Like.. people would know me by some way, shape, or form and I’d have no idea if I knew them or how they knew anything about me (>.< the second hand embarrassment of not knowing the person’s name 😭) (and there was a lot of talking behind my back I think, and I still am unsure if it was positive or negative). But it was like… a venomous popularity sometimes.. not a good one. At least only for my own grade. I literally JUST minded my own business and my own grades happily, but elementary school had its ppl.. Like.. I feel like I was KNOWN. I guess. Idek anymore.. ppl act (especially girls in my grade, the boys too ngl) very strange sometimes, and it was hard for me to take them seriously bc their tone and stuff sounded like they were lying or speaking to a 5 year old. But in all other grades, ppl were so smiley at me and I loved them all, maybe it was just my own grade for some reason. I feel like going a lot from school to school in early life taught me independence and I will never not appreciate that lesson. I like being genuine but I just get so confused and frustrated when ppl aren’t and just waste their breath, and my patience. Excuse the ranting about this, I’ve just never had anybody ask.

Omgsh guys, I had the craziest dream last night and after deciding, I decided to write her down.. Warning, it is a little gory at certain parts, but aside from that I really like the way I wrote this. I didn’t go back to edit much of it (maybe a few details) but hope y’all enjoy the madness.

I was at home and in the yard, the air, as if remaining its smoky nature from yesterday, added another sort of realism to the beginning of the dream—still an almost imperceptible haze from the Canada wildfires.
I heard the neighbor’s dog crying behind the house and made haste to call my own inside before I saw the small white blur come up from the left side of the house—if you were to come out of the front door. He was hiding under the big bush we have, looking.. different. Scared. The poor thing was hunched down shaking, looking between me and what lay at the bottom of the slope on the left side. And how could I forget how human his eyes looked. Unlike other dogs, the dream had conjured them with the white only human eyes possessed. But I called to him, in my attempt to reassure, and picked him up in my arms. I was thankful that he didn’t have any visible wounds, aside a small streak of crimson across his chest and back.
Now, he seemed a bit larger in the dream, but he was still able to carry all the way to the front door, where I stopped to look back at what had scared the little guy—who still lay dormant in my arms.
And I could’ve never been prepared to see such a next sight.

But they were no earthly wolves. There were two of them, large and lean. Necks thick with manes. One of them, a dark, greyish black to the left, the other, a softer grey to the right. But it was the lighter one that especially haunted me. For the darker one’s face was a bit more hidden by the results of vague, blurred imagination that is expected at parts of the dream. But the other one shone crystal clear to my dreamer’s sight. Although its characteristics looked near identical to the darker wolf, the one of greyish blue had a strange, detailed nature to it.. Its face was what I remember most prominently.
And so, as it stood before me, I saw how its countenance bore the most striking resemblance to that of a mandrill. But again, not, like a mandrill. The thick, layered bulges running down its long face is what most resembled this angry monkey, and at the end of it, laid a small nose. But its eyes… Its eyes looked like nothing of either animal. How strange it was, the way the dreamer sees eyes…
They bulged out of its face, looking like perfect circles at the base of its long, layered snout. They were a crystal blue, which complemented the fur of the growling beast well. It reminded me of one of those paintings of dragons from old Chinese folklore. Painted to look straight ahead, and showing no signs of a lid that might hint the creature ever slept. Eyes cursed to stay open and unyielding, and given no rest at dawn’s call for slumber.
So with haste, I headed inside, shutting the door behind myself with the little white dog still docile in my arms. And goodness, I was never so glad I had called in my own companions.
The next part of this dream seemed a bit more vague when I woke up. But I still remember the faint details of the following.
The next thing I knew, I was in a parade. The surrounding area I don’t remember too well, but it was a mix of dark marble architecture, with water hugging my feet. It felt as if I had gone outside and rested my feet in a puddle, the water level small, and not fully submerging my toes. So that was what it was like. And there were others this time. I was no longer alone in the dream, as I was carrying this one piece of decoration. The frame had a rectangular structure to it, and four people supported it by horizontal bars sticking from each corner of the rectangle, as if an emperor were to sit in its centerpiece, completing the decor with flying waves of silken cloth. The structure was a mix of dark red and black, which blended well with the surrounding area. And unsure of where this came from, there were also spotlights of blue. Although, spotlights might not be the correct term for the lighting; throughout the time there were many lights of blue, making me feel like we were parading through some nightly lit water fountain area, which always glowed beautifully against the dark sky. But later, we took a break from carrying the mass, or.. after the red columns that held up its roof were knocked out of alignment, making the roof of the decor fall into large, cube-like pieces, which were tan in its veined color. It was a shame I never found out what we were carrying, but amidst our break, I found myself goofing off and doing the most ridiculous of activities for the occasion. As my friends sat, whom I do not know, for the dream again hid them in the blurs of companionship and alienation, I stood on my tippy toes and.. walked. A sophisticated runway walk I may say, as I tried to keep my head from moving with the way I stepped. Yes. Posture high, heels up, I walked across the neverending puddle, feeling the water trail behind each careful step. It was almost amusing to me. How unlike myself I had felt in that moment. As if I were some dazzling model for all to gawk at on this lone runway. As if I were a gem in this mass of shattered marble and rock. And as I carried out this activity, a friend that I knew had actually taken interest in my gait. Now I will not share the name of the individual, wanting to protect both mine and the companion’s share of dignity and embarrassment, but they asked if I could do it again. How odd…
But something had interrupted this part of the sleeping story, and it was after all hands were needed to fix the decor that I finally displayed my new, charming gait. But I heard no reaction, and that was the end of that portion of the dream.. As if it were some strange.. intermission, because now, I was back at the house again, and the wolves were back. Hungrier than before. And quite literally. They also looked.. different now, more wolf-like than its mandrill-like counterpart. The one of greyish blue had now taken on the appearance of complete jet black fur. But the other was still imperceptible in the haze of the dream, still a blackened blur that accompanied its hungry companion. And so the now-jet-black-wolf also had a new color that surrounded its eyes, smaller than how the black of a panda would conceal its own gaze, but very noticeable nevertheless. Different in color, one eye had an almost neon orange surrounding it, and the other, a neonish yellow. But both eyes were now no longer that crystal blue, and were instead a mix of both neons, looking like a hot ember on an iron stick, just taken away from its burning reshapement, as if it only needed to be doused in water to be taken back to the cooled blue it was before. So that was how the wolf was, but along with the many ways it had changed, I dare add a new, unsettling addition. It could talk. Oh yes. That mouth of white fangs now had a voice to complement its hunger.
Now, I never actually heard the wolf talk, but it was one of those things a dreamer just knew, by some unknowable fact, that it actually could. And whatever it said to me that night, it was not happy. No. It was mad at me. For doing something. But what had I done? I had never seen such a creature like it before, and even waking up, I can only guess that it must’ve been me saving what was planned to be its next dinner. Thinking back to the small white dog. So I guessed that must’ve been why, why its ribs looked so barren of a full stomach.
And the next thing that happened was that I had, in some way, shape or form, taken the ownership of a beautiful, tan-colored moose. A moose! By the way, all of this was now taking place in the backyard of my house. But it felt like a much bigger area than what limited space there was in reality. They ate the moose in their anger, killing it before my eyes. And the black wolf came up to me again, with its silly colors. As if it were saying something that I again could not hear or perceive. It ate my horse as well. Goodness.. I had a horse now. A beautiful paint horse, dark brown and white, like some chocolate cow. Ripped apart by the face, did those wolves end this next animal. This beautiful horse. As its long face was taken deep into the jaws of the black wolf, who ripped it off with such ferocity. Before the creature dropped dead, again, before my eyes. The worst part was, I could not run anywhere. For in a dream, you are victim to whatever your thoughts must sit you through in this hour of rest and vision.
They were still angry at me.. What could I do to sate their hunger? For the most part, the dream ended there I presumed, because I did not see any other vivid event after that. It was all a new blur as were the companions, the other wolf, and the end. But I like to think that I eventually made peace with them. That I made a deal. And that with this deal, they would be satisfied, and stay away from all the likes of my property and my animals.
And the wolf said yes.
