This is basically how I imagined Ichi and Ni working on making Kevin 2.0

…Noodleneck wasn’t simply hiding from the Milita, he was hiding from Troy. Just what happened between the two to lead to this?!

Triangle understandably wants to bring the people from their old world back, especially Mothra. And after what happened before, it made him more caring of others and not so dismissive of life, even for bad guys. I can also get him not being ready to immediately tell them about the monster verse and clone thing, that’s a HUGE revelation that no matter how tenderly you try to address it, they’re going to FREAK, and it be good for a time where you can atleast grapple the present situation. And it’d be good for them to collect as many as possible to go up against Troy and his plans. And even if he hadn’t brought Giga in, with how Troy was already watching them all, I Imagien he’d have come up with one way or the other to get to them.

With that said he’s also been dismissing Monkey & Noodle’s concerns, starting to push them away, being a lil too quick to wanna keep secrets, and ended up bringing in a spy for Troy….part 50-51 showing us consequences to that. And with his search being motivated a lot from finding Mothra, it’s also affecting his judgement a bit and causing some tension between him and his current friends, especially when he avoids talking opening up about her, and hiding the personal trauma and grief that’s hurting him/affecting his actions. He avoids taking the time to have the proper talks with his friends, especially with Monkey, and sadly snaps in the heat of the moment telling Monkey to “grow up” and Noodleneck to “get a grip”, even when he was trying to be more empathetic about it(he does though try to calm the situation, just wanting their trust, and was saying that more to Monkey than NoodleNeck). He’s clearly been changed for the better from S1-3, but at the same time he’s still got a lot to grow and learn, as a person and as a friend. He needs to open up and slow down so he can properly listen and be understood.

Monkey likes what they had, their home and friendship after everything they’ve been through and wanted a well deserved break, and also understand and hurt by Triangle dismissing him/his feelings, keeping so much big secrets and their friendship straining from all the stress. plus the guy’s been also at the end of the short stick in a lot of fights and brotherly spats/pranks, along with dealing with the stress of being the only one around that can’t remeber and havign to deal with a brother he can’t even remember. With that said however, the way he argues and vents to him about things & their situation can def be better.

Put yourself in Triangle’s shoes, you realize all the people you lost from a brutal slaughter could come back, including a close friend of yours you watched be killed before your very eyes and your best friend is actively protesting against searching for them, and (in frustration), even implied they’re just a problem(and this would've been after him chewing you out for leaving him in the pursuit of Mecha Kong, along with being willing to let him kill Mowcuss to keep the router), you’d probably be understandably upset and take it the worst way, even when you do understand the reasons and points they’re trying to make. He even spelled it out, reminding them of how the last time they were given a shot to leave a fight, many innocent people woudlve been erased. For Triangle, it might’ve felt hypocritical to be called out for not caring enough, only for Monkey to be frustrated with him caring so much about not leaving others behind.

And even afterwards, Monkey still unintentionally, comes off just pessimistic about the whole thing and wanting to just stop, rather than find a proper compromise or be more empathetic to Triangle & him wanting to help find everyone. And while Cole hasn’t been making the best impression, you can’t deny it’d hurt for him to not only to have the brother he had lost not only forget him, but showing resentment towards him, even blaming him for his communication issues with Triangle. Empathy & listening needs to go both ways. And sadly things can’t stay the way they are, as much as it’d be nice, but that doesnt meant you have to lose what & who matters the most. I really hope he & Cole start opening up and sincerely connecting more, helping him regain his memories.

Noodleneck, I feel a lot for. Just trying his best to deal with the situation. I feel like they’re….dealing with past guilt/trauma from the stuff they’ve deal with Troy. They also seem to struggle with being more upfront and pushing back on their feelings if they don’t entirely agree on soemthing, or feel left out or dismissed. I imagine Noodle feeling like the third wheel between the duo, plus I can see Noodleneck worry if theyre liked beyond just how helpful they are with stuff. And while Triangle’s “get a grip” was harsh(though in the heat of the moment, not wanting to lose his help), they’re also holding back on information about Troy, with Triangle havign to learn the hard way how dangerous Troy really is. Don’t get me wrong, not trying to blame Noodleneck for that, but it’s clear the dragon’s also not being entirely open about his/their issues, even when it can be impacting the rest of the gang. And even when they disagree on something/have concerns, they don’t push back as much as they should, which can leave an issue to escalate….part of me wonders if Noodleneck doing their best to be helpful/not be too difficult/disagree stems from how things used to be when he/they were with Destroyah. They need to be heard & come to terms with their past, and how it’s affecting their present. And I legit wonder if that played a part into him being manipulated by Mowcuss/the Developer.

There’s clearly a lot they still need to deal with, not just in themselves but with their friendship. There’s still a long way to go for them going forward, and not just who they have to worry about fighting next. They’re still learning how to be there for each other. Just because they’re no longer enemies, they’re still learning how to be good friends.

I need them all to just have a proper emotional talk, even if it has to be a messy argument first, hurting each others feelings & feeling all the guilt and stress pour out of them over everything. That way they can start understanding each other and making the right steps to making up and being there for each other again. Triangle needs to open up about his trauma and take the time to hear em out more, Monkey needs to find more about his past, and be more considerate how he expresses his concerns, and Noodleneck needs to express their feelings fully and open up about their past. And they also need to talk to the rest about everything that’s happened so they can start the healing process as well.
