“kids need to be outside playing & not using technology!” maybe if you didn’t make them spend 95% of their day in school without an outdoor recess (or only 10 minutes outside), maybe if you didn’t ban so many physical activities they love to do outside because they’re “too dangerous,” maybe if you didn’t cut down the forests and pollute the lakes and rivers, maybe if parents would interact with their neighbors more, maybe if school sports weren’t so goddamn expensive in many schools, maybe if local parks and beaches weren’t so dangerous and dirty/littered with disgusting trash, maybe then children would play outside more.
